  The location was convenient, we were fortunate enough to stay in the room that Michael Palin himself stayed in filming 'Around the World in 80 days and the staff was really nice. A shower- Both were clean and free Wifi in the bar was useful. Restaurant had a lovely ambience, because you feel as you were in the old times Europeans started to explore Egypt and the owners were very friendly.

  The location was great and of the three hotel in Egypt we stayed at this was the best one. In addition the services were good, owners were approachable and the room were clean. The bar was wonderful and the food was delicious. Other guests were primarily international tourists.

  The location is central and its an interesting 20 - 30 minutes walk to the Egyptian Museum in one direction. The hotel is gorgeous, amazing old building- the bar lounge is straight out of the movies and plus other tips for tourists to keep us from spending too much money. The staff are friendly, rooms are good and the excellent food that they serve at the Windsor. Charming and true to its "faded grandeur British Colonial" description added to the enjoyable ambiance.

  Communal areas are ancient and the only good thing about this hotel is the bar. Comfortable home base you are in Cairo, they even have an old style manual elevator and they will try to bring the best service. Every room is different and breakfast could be better.

  Great sweet shop nearby, well located and the old ambience of the hotel. Reasonable in price, staff are helpful and the free wireless internet is a nice bonus. The bar is really wonderful, the restaurant is fine.

  Within walking distance of historic Islamic Cairo and great location. Charming old hotel, reasonable prices and the staff were very friendly. Rooms was clean and food also was really good.

  Excellent cheap eats within easy walking distance and great location. Very central Cairo, beautiful old building and enjoys a very good occupancy rate of over 80. Helpful and happy staff, owner were very careful and caring, the shower provided hot water.

  Its very near to metro station Attaba and historic setting. The price perfect and old style. Friendly and helpful staff, great owners, no mosquitos or other surprises in your room.

  Fabulous location in downtown Cairo and quiet place. Overall the Windsor offers great prices, old style and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the restaurant/bar was one good part of the experience.

  The location is great - very near to 2 metro station or you can take a walk to the main square, made our first visit to Cairo very memorable and the staff are good. The water is hot and the bar is beautiful and restful. Excellent food is available all day.
