Windsor Atlantica Hotel Rio de Janeiro - 里约热内卢

The hotel was in a good location and right next to the beach.

The hotel has wonderful security, which is needed in its location.

This hotel should have been wonderful; it has a great location with great views of the beach.

It was walking distance to the underground trains and there were always plenty of Taxis near by.

Also I would reccommend to book the taxis to take you around to Sugar Loaf and to Corcovado from the hotel Conceriege as you get the fixed price and the taxi will take you where you want to go and wait for you and then take you back.

The bed was hard, the closet light could not be turned off, and internet access from the room was spotty.

Rooms were large, very clean with good bathrooms.

Rooms - smallish but your not really there for extended room stays.

However rooms are clean and if you have ocean view you can cope with the room.

Although I never made it out of bed in time to eat the breakfast, my bestfriend did, and she raved about how good the food was!

The food (we only ate breakfast there) was great too - it was all-you-can-eat with a wide selection of things.

Clean area, lots of restaurants in the area including a GREAT Italian restaurant.

The pool is small but the bar/restaurant around is fine with a good service, so it was nice to have a rest there after our Rio's visits.

Food- We only ate breakfast at the hotel (included in the room price).

The feijoada meal on Saturday was great, the breakfasts around the pool on the second floor were lovely and we have particularly fond memories of the sweet and very helpful pool attendant.

The hotel service continued to be excellent throughout my two day stay, with each of the front desk people I spoke to responding in exactly the same helpful and attentive manner.

Otherwise the concierge service here was excellent - we went to a samba club and the concierge booked a table for us and arranged transport which was great.

I have never had such a rude and unhelpful concierge service.

The staff at the concierge desk were unreachable, extremely rude, would hang up on you when they thought your question was too difficult, and did not give good recommendations for restaurants.

Sauna, gym, pool, and massage service, hairdresser provided.

You do hear the elevators in the elevator shaft, but we were near the top, and it did not really bother us.

The swimming pool is very small and the gym is pretty much non-existent.

Our room, on the 31st floor, had a fantastic view of the whole Copacabana Beach and was clean and well furnished.

Yes, the rooms are not the largest (as compared to US standards) but I found them to be clean and well maintained.

The rooms, are not huge, but were clean and served their purpose.
