The Williamsburg Inn Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, close to the College of William and Mary, the Water Country USA water park, the Busch Gardens Europe theme park and Williamsburg Pottery Factory.

The property was built in 1937 by John D. Rockefeller Jr, who wanted to provide the region with a world-class European-style hotel. The venue with the original furniture, designed especially for this hotel, and brilliantly refurbished chandeliers features a new tea room, bar lounge, spring-fed pool, clay tennis courts, as well as golf and fitness club completed with spa services.

Each of the 62 guestrooms and suites feature the 19th century Regency decor, the 20th century heritage of the original building and 21st century amenities. The accommodation includes marble bath with hair dryer, wireless internet connection, plasma television, safe and mini-bar.

The common areas of the main inn are very lovely and comfortable, the main hotel is absolutely amazing. The doormen at the main building are absolutely delightful, rooms are good.

Beautiful surroundings, luxurious and quiet rooms and baths, eager and attentive service, lovely hotel, breakfast at the main building was very good. The staff were incredibly warm and gracious on all levels, bathroom was fantastic, all food was fresh and many choices for all types of eaters. Horderves and dinner were excellent.

The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a nice view out to the golf course, the best two aspects of the stay were the convenicne of the inn and the furnishings. The staff were very attentive and our room was large. The breakfast was good.
