Its location at the heart of the city and its proximity to New Grange which we visited next morning.
Although the hotel offers free internet access you cannot access from your room. You have to go out into a central area and even then it was very slow. We were on the top floor and since there is no lift it was a bit tough dragging our bags up although there was someone to help.

The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. Both were spotless. Hotel and bar staff were friendly and efficient. Bar food was very good.
The lack of elevators could be a problem for some. The crowds of people on the street outside of the hotel after the nightclub, from 3am on, were extremely loud, but the hotel had warned us regarding noise pollution.

The friendliness of the staff in this hotel is the best I've known. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything done with a smile or a laugh.
Lack of lift. However, they were more than eager to carry bags upstairs for you.

I thought the price was excellent for the two of us, far enough from dublin but not too far to go home in case of an emergency. The staff were lovely, food good, rooms spotless but no lift. I would love my mam and her sister to go but she is in a wheelchair so a no no. I am going back with a group of women in September. Late bar great and night club a bonus. We were celebrating our 20th anniversay but not really a mature couple. In our forties

The rooms were nicely decorated and the breakfast room particularly nice.
We stayed on a Saturday night and the noise from the hotel bars and the patrons spilling out on the street meant we had very little sleep. Our son and his family were in a room above the bar and they had the sound of vibrating music as well as the street noise.

Hotel was beautifully decorated. The colour schemes of the wallpaper and carpets worked wonderfully well.It felt more like a boutique hotel------ a hidden gem.
Signage was poor Your receptionist explained this was due to the renovations being carried out.
