These rooms embody many of the original architectural details of this private residence built in1886. They include hand carved marble fireplaces, 12 to 14 foot ceilings with deep crown moldings and plaster medallions, hand carved woodwork, bead-board wainscoting, and parquet floors. The furnishings, while reproductions, are appropriate to the time period of this 1886 mansion. The rooms also include modern touches such as televisions, compact disc players, in-room safes, and refrigerators, all subtly hidden so as not to distract from the ambiance of authenticity. Every room has a king bed, private bath with an oversized whirlpool tub, and separate glass-walled shower. All rooms have a comfortable seating area, several with sofas, while other feature a daybed tucked into an alcove, perfect to while away the afternoon reading a good book. The rooms have all been decorated from a warm color palette with very rich and luxurious fabrics throughout the guest room.

The 14 ft ceilings with ornate hand carved and molded plaster ceilings are truly a work of art. This room was originally served a music parlor for the family and remains a stunning reminder of grand Victorian architecture.
