This relaxing hotel is a good bargain for the money, especially considering its location near shopping centers and museums. It's also fairly calm and has a nice staff. The rooms are a bit small but lavish nonetheless. The courtyard pool received praise as well. Critics feel that there's nothing special about this hotel and that it needs to be remodeled.

Madrid Barajas International Airport is 12km away easy reachable by underground and by bus.

By car follow the M-12 road, then take the A-2 road till Paseo de la Castellana, once in Cibeles Square take Calle Alcala in the direction of O’Donnell and in few blocks you will see the hotel.

The pool area was a little disappointing, location of the hotel was perfect for shopping and the staff were really friendly and helpful also. Our room was not a bad size for European standards, superior breakfast, and the bistro was excellent.

The Wellington is in a v good area for the museums, the hotel is well placed for the Prado and the staff wee welcoming, efficient, and polite. The rooms are nice too.

I liked the location, was about a 15 minute walk from the prado, the hotel also has a pool was great and the staff were very courteous, helpful and fluent in English. The bed was one of the most comfortable i ever slept in.
