It made our trip to Gold Coast an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING experience. Everything was very good, and it had free wi-fi. Neat rooms were facing the sea. Great breakfast and other services were great.
The staff was not particularly friendly.

I booked a room with a comfortable bed, a lounge and a kettle. Plus it had a luxurious view over the sea. Most of the staff were especially helpful and very professional.

The location is excellent. Easy access to restaurants and shops, stunning views, lovely apartment and excellent facilities.
It would be good to have just a little more of the household amenities e.g dishwasher powder, laundry powder, dish liquid etc as we were only there for three nights but had to buy supplies in the supermarket which, although they can be used later at home, was a slight inconvenience and expense. Perhaps email through a suggestion list to guests so they know to bring a few household bits and pieces with them. The carpark can be a little difficult to negotiate initally, as it's very easy to drive past the access swipe-stations.

We stayed on the 29th floor in a 3 bedroom apartment and the views were amazing. The apartment was excellent with all the latest fixtures and fittings.

We had a fantastic stay at The Wave Resort. The location was ideal and the views from our apartment were absolutely stunning. The spacious rooms provided plenty of space for our family, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. The facilities, including the pool, sauna, and bbq area, were top-notch and added to the enjoyment of our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our time there. Despite a few minor issues, such as the air con leaking and the internet accessibility not being ideal for a larger family, these were outweighed by the overall positive experience. We would definitely recommend The Wave Resort to other families looking for a great place to stay in Broadbeach. we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily return in the future.

comfortable rooms - great location
the noise from the elevators continually - unfortunately the collection of rubbish from restaurants below each morning at about 6am was disturbing also

The free chocolates at check-in were a nice touch and the view from the balcony was stunning, with a perfect view of the ocean. The hotel's proximity to the beach was really convenient and saved us the hassle of finding parking.
The staff was extremely unhelpful and their customer service was nonexistent. Our requests for extra towels were ignored and it took hours to get any assistance.

The wave resort was in the perfect location as there was great shopping and fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away which is great for families. The room was spacious and well proportioned.
I didn't like the shower door opened up and the floor mat was soaked due to water being able to escape out of shower tray. The sliding mirror wardrobe doors became frustrating when you were trying to open doors as you had to keep sliding the doors backwards and forwards. The foyer was always way to hot...need to turn the heating down! These are just little irritations but would no means stop me from staying here again.

I had a great stay at this hotel in the heart of Broadbeach. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was excellent, with all the amenities I needed, including a well-appointed kitchen. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the prices were great value for money. The hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including three bedrooms with single beds and a sofa bed that we paid extra for. I couldn't fault this hotel in terms of its attention to detail, location, service, and facilities.
All was great during my stay at this hotel.

Loved the location, was impressed with the quality and style of the apartments.
The trip was one for business with three managers of our company staying in separate apartments with their partners so we could attend a group planning session for our business. We booked three rooms which were spread across two levels, swipe tags made it impossible for us to travel between floors without meeting in the lobby first and then going together to the room in which we wanted to be in. We were also looking like being unable to make use of our booking dates due to flooding in nsw (The Clarence River where we live). When we phoned to ask if it was possible to postpone our stay (not get a refund) the staff were incredibly unaccommodating and said there was a policy in place and basically it was too bad for us. A lot of confusion arose between Booked.net staff and onsite staff at The Wave, one said the change of dates was possible, The Wave refused. A manager at The Wave wasn't available to speak to and the response was "this isn't our problem, speak with Booked.net" - which we did but were informed that the policy at The Wave wouldn't assist our situation. A complete lack of compassion for the situation and a lack of willingness to help in what wasn't an ideal situation for anyone has made our mind up that we wouldn't book another trip to The Wave. Luckily for us the roads opened late on the Friday afternoon and we could finally make our way to the resort - a late drive and a lot of effort that we wouldn't have had to deal with if the policy of the resort was a little more realistic under circumstances such as these!
