Wave Hotel Miami Beach - 迈阿密海滩

location close to sobe attractions and the hotel staff could be a bit more friendly.

Even thought prior reviews were not favorable, we booked the hotel because of its location.

Which is about 1 block away from the entrance to south beach, and I would like to say that it is the best location.

We took a minivan from Miami International Airport for $50.

Leaving Miami, we couldn't help but complain and the cabbie and airport personnel said they had heard many complaints about the place.

Well, ac did not work, king size bed with queen size fitted sheets, spider in the tub, toilet stopped up, dirty carpet, just not a pleasant and clean room to stay in.

The rooms are definatley not as great as they were 5 years ago when we first stayed there, but they are clean and comfortable, we had a nice king sized bed and even a slight ocean view form our room.

Everything looked dull and dingy, the room and bathroom are small, and the bed had hard edges that extended beyond the mattress.

The bed is a platform bed, so it will be harder and lower than some beds.

Rooms were decent, nice clean and really comfy bed.

The complimentary breakfast in the bar was nice.

The hotel had free internet access, free NY Times, free continental breakfast, and free drinks in the bar from 7-8.

The breakfast was served in the bar, and the sitting area is not large enough to accomodate more than 20 people at the time.

It was nice to be able to eat breakfast and head straight out to the beach first thing in the morning.

Just don't expect room service or meals past breakfast.

The location is great, the Wave didn't deviate from the norm and the front desk staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Upon arrival, we found the front desk staff not exactly friendly, most of which we attributed to being in South Beach.

Positives about hotel: Staff was friendly and the front desk was very polite.

The parking was convenient, right outside the lobby;.

There were nice spa style bathrobes, minibar with reasonable prices as far as minibars go-and it's on the honor system.

I can't really speak about the parking situation because we didn't bring a car-not really necessary in South Beach.

The bathrooms are clean, breakfast is pretty substantial for continental.

The staff was very polite and the rooms were very clean.

The bathroom appeared a little old, but it was clean.

Apparently it's not chic to clean the bathrooms either, which I'm sure the dust bunnies around the shower were thankful for.

Overall the rooms were clean and comfortable and served it's purpose, a place to shower in between beach dinner and dancing a place to rest your head when you barely made it in the following morning.
