Other than those two items we thought the hotel was a good value and would consider staying there again.
Great location, the hotel was a pretty good value and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Bottom line, the hotel was a pretty good value, although it had a few odd things that made it tough to completely recommend it.
We found this hotel to offer great value.
The location is awesome, ofcourse the Trader's Joe across the street is a big plus and nearby Traders Joes great to have w kids.
This is a really convenient and safe location.
The comfortable facilities enabled us to relax after a hard days sightseeing, the location of this hotel is ideal and very nice helpful front desk valet/bellhop.
If you cannot get there by Metro (Subway) you do not need to go there.
Metro (subway) which gets you to the Smithsonian / Washington Monument with no transferring in just 10 minutes.
Very comfortable & really spacious suite, 2 king beds in bedroom & sofa bed in living room, nice bathroom & a luxury to have additional sink & mirror in big space just outside bathroom.
We had a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed in the living room which was great for our family--plenty of room to spread out.
The Washington Suites Georgetown is in a great location, the staff is wonderful and living room sofa that pulls out to bed is quite comfy.
Room 812 had very good quality furnishings and consisted of a large bedroom, a separate lounge, a separate bathroom with shower and slightly undersized bath and a well-equipped kitchen with good supply of coffee and tea,.
The room was spaciuous with bedroom and separate living area and TV in both rooms.
Thai restaurant almost next door and Marshalls Bar & Grill a few doors down is a friendly bar which also serves good food.
Though the breakfast room was crowded, there was no problem going down, collecting what I would like and taking it up to eat in the comfort of my own room.
There is a supermarket just across the street if you want to cook yourself or restaurants nearby if you don't.
The Georgetown restaurants weren't as great for the kids and tended to be higher end french or pub food.
There are good restaurants (fast food, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Italian) close by within 3-4 blocks.
The front desk and bell staff were especially friendly and welcoming.
Location proved to be the best for walking and front desk staff exceptionally nice.
The front desk staff was wonderful and very helpful.
I thought about taking my family there on a later trip to DC but the lack of a pool and the expensive parking ($25/day) put us off.
Then, once you grab your food and head to the elevator to get upstairs (since there's generally no place to sit in the breakfast room), be prepared to wait for several minutes for one of the 2 elevators to come!
The lobby is small but bright and cheery.
In addition to the internet provided by the hotel (for w hich you need a cable) we are picking up a wireless network.
Very clean and tidy, spacious room and bathroon.
The hallways and rooms were dated but very clean.
The rooms are clean and the kitchen a bit dated is well equipped.
More spacious than most at a good price, friendly staff and the suite was clean.
The room was clean and the morning complimentary breakfast was just right to start the day.
