Slightly above average hotel near the Capitol that was a fairly good value for the money.
The location was convenient for Union Station, the hotel gift shop had reasonable prices as well and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Frist let me say that we got a great package with this hotel from Booked.net and the cost is a big factor whenever I look at value.
Why should we have to pay for her mistakes, especially when they found this out on our checkout day, and everyone knows you spend the majority of your money during your vacation and you don't always have extra to pay for mistakes made by your hotel.
We loved the location and well situated in town.

All in all this is a very good hotel and it is an easy walk to Union Station for the Metro underground trains, buses and shopping, including all of the food outlets.
One more tip, use the Super Shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, it was easy and cheaper than getting a cab.
They did offer to upgrade us to a suite; however, there was only a king bed in that room as well, and one of the three in our party would have been sleeping on a pull out couch for four nights.
The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was included and it was in quite a lovely restaurant setting with a superb selection of hot (eggs, sausage, waffles, bacon, French toast, etc) and cold items (cereals, vast selection of fruits, yogurts).
The bar and recreational area are nice, although I wouldn’t suggest the restaurant unless you are willing to pay a lot for mediocre food.
Because I reserved through the hotel website, we received a voucher for free breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant.
The bar and restaurant are overpriced for what you get.
The hotel is beautiful and front desk service really nice and helpful.
The staff was attentive and room service was timely except for one evening when they said they had a large order ahead of mine.
Glass sided lifts (elevators) were speedy and efficient.
Pricey valet parking - leave the car at home if possible.
Check-in was quick and the elevators speedy.
That particular network was a bit better but was still as slow as dial-up.
The charge for wireless internet was 10 dollars no matter how long you use it.
The bathroom was spotless and was kept clean during our 4 night stay.
Overall, the room was very nice, clean, and sufficiently large to allow our family of 4, with a 10 year-old and a 1 year-old, function without any problems.
The staff was excellent, room kept clean.

The room I had for two nights was spacious, clean, well-furnished, well-appointed.
