Viva Wyndham Tangerine - An All Inclusive Resort Cabarete

Hotel is very clean, elegant ,has beautiful grounds, and has excellent location so close to Cabarete, which we visited a few times walking along the beach.

This is a small resort and it's location was close to all the action so it got a little noisy at times.

Great location and hotel, just don't mind some of the unpolite and loud americans.

May just be the DR, the place is pretty under-developed - just look out the window of the bus or taxi when you're heading from the airport.

As with all airports, the food is expensive - Doritos are US$6 a bag at the airport.

Our free honeymoon upgrade gave us a room upgrade from a standard room to a suite - king sized bed in bedroom, living room with pullout couch, table and four chairs and plenty of closet and draw space in the bedroom and living room.

For being a "suite" it was sort of small, it had a sofa bed(had a musty smell) a king bed a tiny mini bar, a 25 inch tv with cable.

The room was beautiful, it had 2 double beds and a nice bathroom with large shower, hand basin, bidet and of course a toilet.

We had a huge bed which was bigger than king size, and our bathroom had a separate shower cubicle and a separate bath with plenty of space between both.

The room was good, with the air condition blasting at a nice tempuerature, the bathroom was beautiful just that their sewage is not that strong so no toilet paper in the toilets.

There was also food available from the snack bar, but it was so plentiful in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner that we didn't need to bother with this!

We ate at both Italian and Mexican restaurants, the snack bar and the buffet restaurant.

We did eat at the seafood restaurant next to LAX Bar - this is the only disappointing meal had all holiday - it took a long time and our lobster was overcooked and pricy.

The hotel, food, bar , nightclub and restaurants are all excellent and of very high standard.

Ask to stay in the main building which is where the buffet restaurant, spa shops and bar is.

Maid service was excellent and all of the staff friendly.

Make sure the staff at reception know what you asked for somethimes they say "ok" if they dont understand, this is not ignorance it is just because they want to be polite.

Tipping is entirely optional in the hotel, however the standard of service was such top class that we often liked to reward the staff as they worked so hard, often for very long hours.

More bar staff were required at times, the service got quite slow when there was a rush of punters needing a drink.

The central building contains the gym (with modern equipment), spa, library, variety store (a bit expensive but handy), games room, and Internet café ($2 for fifteen minutes).

They also have a spa, pool tables, tennis, a few shops, henna, hair braiding & internet.

I really think that they should invest in a heater for the pool and the jacuzzi (which was colder than the pool).

The rooms were excellent and kept very clean.

My husband and I had a oceanfront room that was beautiful and the terrace would have held at least 30 people, very very clean.

Resort/Room: The entire Resort is kept extremely clean.

The oceanfront room that we had was clean and the room service was excellent.

This place was fab, exceptionally clean both in the communal areas and in the rooms (done everyday).
