Viva Wyndham Playa Dorada - An All Inclusive Resort Puerto Plata - 普拉塔港

The hotel is really nice, building 4 is a great location as 's close to the lobby and the Beach area is beautiful.

So it's a very nice location for walking to other nearby places.

Good location in Playa Dorada walking distance to the shopping plaza which has alot of stores, restaurant, club, nearby pharmacy.

Tip: Flying into Puerto Plata airport you will need to pay a $10 fee per person to enter the country and the taxis are $25 US dollars to the resort.

The taxis try to rip you off so we decided to give the bus a try.

The room was very large and clean, with a King bed and a separate living area, our bathroom was very large and very nice as well.

When arrived we got taken to are room strait away their was no waiting around, the room was basic but nice the only down fall was we had to share a bed, the rooms were always cleaned every day and the maids were very freindly.

My room - locks were broken on the window and balcony door, tv did not work, AC was shotty at best, bed was gritty during our first night.

Rooms were very spacious, huge bed, cable t.

In the third room we were subjected to using the bathrooms garbage can to collect water in order to flush the toilet.

The buffet restaurant at hotel was nice, great breakfast, good food at lunch and dinner.

The main las palmas restaurant is a buffet style serving internationational foods at breakfast lunch and dinner and sometimes has themes nights, eg Italian.

But the beachfront restaurant and bar are great, the food there is excellent and always fresh, no lineups and always room at the tables.

The beach has a beach bar where you can get oven wood pizza, hot dogs, nachos, and everything else, at night the beach bar turns into another restaurant where you need a reservation, they had great food there and very quick service.

You can have breakfast in the main dining hall, where you will taste Caribbean and European cuisine.

The hotel staff are pretty friendly overall, milton at the front desk is very very nice and the room service is limited to continental breakfast.

The front desk staff was not very helpful but the guest services girls were great!

Staff: The front desk and guest services staff were excellent.

Friendly animation staff (well, that's their job), helpful front desk, nice service in restaurants.

I kind of was hoping that the pool or at least the Jacuzzi would have later hours, but they don't.

Pool/jacuzzi/Bar area: This was great, the beach was clean and lots a places to sit in the sun or sneak off in the shade for a break was nice.

On check in we requested a pool view room, we looked into the gym, but aside from that it was a large room with everything you need to be comfortable.

The premises are impeccably clean, the beach is squeaky clean, the dining facilities are spotless and the rooms are quite generous.

Again, the room was spotless and really nice.

I would agree that the rooms were very large and always clean.

The room was huge and so nice and SPOTLESS!

The Hotel was clean (and was cleaned regularly) including Pool area, Bedrooms, Reception, etc.
