Getting there

Airport Manzanillo - 27km

From the airport:

  • Head east on Via Aquileia/SS14 and at the roundabout, take the third exit onto SS14, then take the second exit onto the A4 ramp to Autostrada, keep right at the fork, follow signs for Trieste and merge onto A4, continue onto E70 (signs for Trieste) and continue onto SS202, go onto Raccordo Autostradale A4-Trieste (signs for Trieste), continue onto Grande Viabilità (signs for Basovizza) and then continue onto SS202, take the exit toward Capodistria/Rabuiese/Muggia and merge onto SS15, continue onto H5, take the exit on the left, continue onto Istrska cesta (signs for Portorož/Portorose) onto Route 111, slight right onto Route 629, keep left at the fork and slight left to stay on Koprska cesta, turn right onto Obala and slight left to stay on Obala. The hotel will be on the right.

    Staff very considerate and clean large room. Fresh tortillas every meal and free alcohol. Also, portfinos for great Italian.

    The location of the resort is ideal, the bus system is very convenient and the beach gets better as you travel away from the resort. The hotel is very nice, the staff and services very good and will treat you as gold, the manager, George, is fantastic. Only standard rooms are available and the Italian restaurant is wonderful.

    Our room had a wonderful view of the bay from the balcony and mountain views from the patio, beach was fantastic. Our stay was comfortable, the service was excellent and the food in the buffets was very good and plentiful. Plus the dinner shows were surprisingly entertaining, the pools were great.

    Very relaxed surroundings, the beach is great and the water very warm, Manzanillo is beautiful and this resort is by far the BEST. The staff are wonderful, rooms are clean and the food is good in the buffet restaurants. The menu is on a fifteen day cycle and was varied.

    The beach was beautiful, the view from the balcony was awesome and george the hotel social director was as good as the reviews mentioned. The staff were great, my room was cleaned promptly everyday and the service was impeccable, food, entertaiment, people, activities, everything was super. The pool was nice and large.
