Good location on Collins Avenue, 5 minutes away from the beach and convenient nearby parking lots 10 min drive to Jackson memorial hospital.

The location couldn't be better, the hotel is in good area and the rooms are large.

Studio Suite with a king size bed, full kitchen, nicely tiled-bathroom and huge walk-in closet and a safe; it reminded me my first apartment out of college.

Our suite of rooms (bedroom-sitting room, kitchen-dining area, bathroom, walk-in closet) was spotlessly clean on arrival, and maintained in that state by efficient house-staff, who responded to our every need.

One positive was the bed - a very comfortable Queen - and I was happy that the bathroom was clean and we were given plenty of fresh towels each day.

But the only thing you should expect from the housekeepers is a made up bed because they don't clean the bathroom and they don't change the towels and washcloths.

On top of that, people next room were talking showers at 7:00am every morning and the noise of the water was so irrsistible that I sat on my bed and waited for them to finish.

Viscay is a cozy boutique hotel, very quiet and clean, 1-minute walk to restaurants on Ocean Drive and 2-minute walk to the beach.

We love the fact that Viscay is one block from Ocean Drive with its restaurants and nightlife and one block from Washington Avenue, which also has great restaurants.

It is an easy walk to Lincoln Road with its pedestrian mall which has such great ambiance, excellent restaurants, and.

I was in the thick of restaurants, clubs, and the Beach.

Their is no breakfast, but everything you need is in walking distance.

Restaraunts all at a very reasonable price, helpfull staff and peter the manager very helpful.

Hotel staff was helpful in every way, from assisting with our luggage, to guiding us around town, to providing laptop computer with wireless internet connection.

The staff is wonderful and good air conditioning.

There is no parking, pool or elevator at this hotel and the front desk guy (I think he is the manager/owner as well) was kinda rude and unfriendly.

There are several parking options; Peter rents out a residential permit for on-street parking.

The parking lot close to the Viscay hotel charges $30.

Location is perfect, the hotel is quiet and the bathroom is always clean.

The bathroom is always clean, and linens are replaced daily.

The room was clean and comfortable so no complaints when we first arrived but trying to sleep was another matter.

I asked for the room to be clean around 11:00am and when we came back from the beach at 2:00pm, the lady was going to start cleaning so we had to sit downstairs and wait 15 min for the lady to finish.
