The location of the Virginia Hotel is also great.

Excellent location - more or less in the center of town and only 2 minutes from the beech.

The service was amazing, the hotel was beautiful, the location was perfect, the decor was lovely, and the beach service was terrific.

But when we arrived we had a normal room with king bed on the second floor.

The room had a very elegant charm along with a bed that made you feel as if you were sleeping in the clouds.

Lovely, freshly decorated accomodation, very comfortable bed, central location, and a nice breakfast with really good coffee.

The good: great location, nice breakfast, the restaurant Ebbitt room was excellent.

The shower is excellent and the breakfast is lovely.

Hospitable and the restaurant at the hotel was superb, the staff was very friendly.

The downstair rooms are very elegant, the front porch comfortable (that's where we ate our very substantial continental breakfast, included in the $200.

We also took breakfast on the porch 2 of the mornings.

Very pleasant staff, but front desk a little disinterested.

Furthermore all victorian homes are romantic so don't let that sway you and front desk friendly.

The decor was lovely and the staff was quick to rectify the mistake in quite the professional manner.

Warm decor, the staff was extremely courteous and the shower did not drain very well.

The front desk was amazing and dropped what they were doing to find my jewelry.

Note that the hotel does not have an elevator, so keep that in mind.

The hotel lobby, veranda, and lounge were elegant and beautiful.

We had a wonderful room that was kept sparkling clean the entire visit.

Rooms small but very comfortable, clean and well appointed.

Our wonderful "continental" breakfast, which was brought up to our room, consisted of delicious coffee, English Breakfast tea, twin bowls of sliced fresh fruit, yogurt, bagel, sweet roll, and the best croissants this side of the Atlantic!
