This hotel is based around the house built in 1799 for Lady Anne Barnard and was recently renovated. There are rooms attached to a great spa and they have beautiful gardens all around them and stunning mountain views. The staff is amicable and the gym and pool are incredible.

Located in the suburb of Newlands, the Vineyard Hotel and Spa has more than 200 years of history.
The two-storey building lies in six acres of parkland on the banks of the Liesbeek River.
The hotel used to be home to Lady Anne Barnard.
Additional bedrooms were designed by designed by the renowned architects Jack Barnett and Revel Fox. The hotel currently features 207 bedrooms from single to family suites overlooking either the mountain or the courtyard. Guests can use outdoor or indoor heated pool.

All bedroom have an en -suite bathroom with a separate shower, free internet, mini bar, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV, wall safe and direct international dialing. All rooms are non smoking. The 26sqm deluxe rooms have a balcony or patio. Suites have a separate bedroom en-suite. The 33sqm junior suites boast a double bedroom and lounge. The hotel is also home to Francois suite named after Francois Petousis who owns the Vineyard. There are five garden cottages. Each cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living room.

The Square restaurant is the place for breakfast and dinner. Myoga Restaurant and sushi bar is open for lunch and dinner. Splash café lies alongside the indoor heated swimming pool and offers a healthy menu. Garden lounge and patio serves breakfast in summer.
Work
The conference rooms overlook the Table Mountain and the gardens. Each floor holds up to 280 guests. Rooms can be also converted into three smaller rooms.
Leisure
On the territory of the hotel guests will find two swimming pools, fitness center and a international Angsana spa run by the Banyan Tree Group. Trained instructors in the gym are available on request. The hotel’s parkland features 3km and 5km jog or walk routes.

From the airport, take the N2 and follow signs to M3 Muizenberg. Turn left after the Shell Garage on the Claremont road. Take left after the traffic circle. The Vineyard Hotel and Spa is just 300m on the left.
