Vincci Capitol Hotel was opened in 2007 in the well-known Carrion building and has large rooms with muted tones. Some rooms have circular beds. One of the benefits that make this hotel stand out are its spectacular views of Gran Via. Not all the rooms benefit from these views, but to make up for it is a 9th floor viewing area for guests.

Overview

The Vincci Capitol is an ultra-modern hotel set in the trendiest area of Gran Via with its countless boutiques, restaurants and entertainments. Cultural venues of Madrid are close by: the Opera, theatres, ‘The Art Triangle’, museums and art galleries and other sights are easily available on foot. Commercial districts of Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor are also nearby. Excellent transport communication makes it easy to get around the whole city.

A contemporary urban-style property with bright minimalist interiors is an embodiment of an Art-Deco philosophy, yet the hotel has a particular feel of hearty welcome, which makes it a relaxing and cozy retreat in the middle of the bustling downtown.

The lobby is modern, the service is good and the staff is either very professional, the room has mood lighting gives a luxurious feel.
Moreover the concierge staff were very willing and the room was very clean and comfortable.
The bathroom is excellent, the buffet breakfast at 15 euro is good value and a beer and a glass of red wine cost just over 7 euros.
