  Very accessible to city centre and easy to Florence by bus. The hotel was nice enough, owner and staff person were very pleasant and helpful, the temperature of the shower was just above cold. The free wireless service in the apt was very useful and breakfast was good.

  Bus is good alternative and the long drive is dodgy in the dark as is very uneven. Villa ulivi is a perfect location in the green outscirts of Florence, an absolutely beautiful setting off the beaten path and absence of TV is a nice thing. Continental breakfast should have cheese and the garden is fantastic.

  Beautiful avenue of trees and the location is good. The place is appreciated and the tranquility as well, the rooms are clean, i just returned from a 9 day Italian vacation in rome and Florence.

  Nice location and beautiful setting. Good for price, other interesting decorations and service and rates were fantastic. Our room was large, the delicious breakfast on the terrace had great variety and owner just walked away we arrived, hearing we were English. The villa and the garden were impressive.

  Good location, great value and beautiful style of house in idyllic grounds. Service nice and friednly, helpful partially mitigating the rudeness of the owners, no hot water in the swit. Modern free standing lamps, simple breakfast.

  The house is beautiful and just looked at Villa Ulivi's own website.

  The staff seemed irritated by our need for adjustment of our hot water each morning, the breakfast on offer is limited.

  Beautiful building, room was done in traditional Italian style and the setting and view from our apartment was wonderful. Hot water hardly came out of the shower and breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent, strong, and plentiful.

  Not for someone looking for a luxury hotel and our room was huge.

  Staff were not around to help guide/answer questions any time other than morning at breakfast time and this behaviour by the owner was disgraceful and untrustworthy and I would not recommend.
