loved our stay in podstrana this summer, and stipe residence exceeded our expectations. amazing beach & clear water for our little one to swim. staff was friendly & helpful, even with early check-in & late check-out. thank you for a great vacation!

Great location near the beach and a fantastic restaurant nearby. The room was clean and spacious with a lovely balcony and view. The staff was friendly and helpful, even providing clear directions when I had trouble finding the hotel. The stay was overall excellent and the price was very reasonable.

We were sleeping in the 6 bedded appartment and it was spacious, modern and clean. The hotel was near the beach althoug there was a big road in between.

Breakfast was not on time and there was not too many things to eat.

I absolutely loved the warm and cozy decoration of the hotel. The furniture and decor had a charming vintage touch that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were also very well maintained and clean. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible with no stairs to climb and had wide corridors that allowed me to walk comfortably with my cane. It was such a relief not to have to worry about navigating through narrow spaces or steep steps.

If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have grab bars installed in the bathrooms. As much as I loved the accommodation, having some extra support would have given me more confidence and made my stay even more enjoyable.

We really enjoyed the sea view from the padio of the appartment. The breakfast staff was very helpful and attentive, the food itself simple but quite sufficient and tasty. The cleaning lady was very willing and friendly which is always good.

Don't get misled by the Wifi availability in the hotel description. The signal reception in our appartment was very bad (working just from the toilet). Even though the cleaning as such was done properly, there were always ants in the kitchen sink, the kitchen equipment lacked very basic staff (bottle opener broken, no can opener, no cutting board). The freezer was full of frost, the toilet seat was broken, sun umbrella broken. When I come to an appartment in Croatia, I expect short info on nearest beach, available public transportation, availability of trips, nearest supermarket,...none of that was available in Stipe. All in all, last year we stayed an a place nearby that was 30% cheaper but at least 50% more comfortable than Stipe. I have no problem paying ever more extra money but for that I expect no broken power outlets, no ants, availability of basic kitchen stuff, working wifi and other accessories. To conclude, it was not a disaster but it's definitely not worth the money they ask for (had it cost 50% less this would have been an entirely different review). We booked just a week, it turned out it was a right decision, the next week we spent in a much more comfortable place for less price (photos as proof of this information available per email). Too close to a main road. Quite a lot of garbage around the main road (not in the hotel). Few restaurants in walking distance.

Amazing sea view, spacious room with a large patio. Lovely and welcoming staff. Recently renovated and sparkling new. Fast Wi-Fi and comfortable bed. Convenient location with nearby bakery and mini market. Bus stop just a minute away. Perfect for a vacation.

Felt incredibly lucky to have found this place, as nothing was too much trouble.

The view was absolutely amazing. We had the apartment on the top floor and the sunset view was beautiful. The apartment was also very spacious.

Unfortunately, this was ruined by an awful smell. I could not found was smelled so bad but we rushed out of the apartment the day following our stay. I hope for them that this was only a temporary problem...

The bedroom was extremely clean and well decorated. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast that was provided was fresh. Views from the balcony were pretty. Definitely a place to escape from the city bustle.

Great location- close to the beach and bus station to Split center.

The apartments were nicely decorated and were modern, comfortable and very clean. Staff were helpful. Nice open veranda for breakfast. Not far from the pebble beach and 20 min bus ride from Split.

The location was on the very busy road that runs down the Dalmatian coast, you have to cross it to reach the restaurants and beach and the town/village had no real centre it just stretches out along the road, with hotels and a few restaurants dotted along it. A good stop off, but not great for whole holiday here.
