Located on a mountainside with stunning views of a lake and surrounding mountains, this hotel offers luxury accommodation with a great pool area. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and equipped with fresh towels every day. The hotel staff was friendly and responsive, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable.
The hotel's location may not be suitable for those looking for easy access to nearby towns. the hotel lacked amenities like a gym or spa, which can be expected at a luxury hotel.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. It's perched high up on a hill, offering breathtaking views of Lake Garda. The receptionists were professional and friendly. Claudio, the waiter who served us, was chatty, charming and helpful. The meals were delicious - we had both breakfast and dinner there. Definitely a stay to remember.
The hotel isn't in Gargnano as stated, but an 8 km drive up a windy road with hairpin bends and no crash barriers. This is of course part of the hotel's charm. If it were more easily accessible, it wouldn't be so special. However, guests might appreciate this information in advance.

View and nice staff
We have just returned from a four day trip to Lake Garda, this was our first trip to the area and we very much chose our hotel from the No. 1 spot given to it with the accompanying fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor.. You may conclude at the end that i should have done a little more research as to the location and facilities on offer, and not just relied on the review postings ,and i think this would be a fair point. I would like to write a constructive review of our stay at Villa Sostaga - Boutique Hotel ,i totally understand this is from my 'English' perspective and some comments may not apply to the requirements or tastes of other nationalities . We stayed four nights priced at just over £210 a night,we are a couple in our late 50 s and have been together for a number of years, the reason for telling you this is to highlight that the pastime of bedroom gymnastics and laughing at each others jokes and stories that we had not heard before was not likely to while away as much time as it might for a newlywed honeymooner. From the start i would like to say in my previous employment i have worked very closely with some famous major 5 star hoteliers while they either set up and monitored their hotel chains... i only point this out to highlight that i am aware of what is and is not expected at this price level.. The location of the hotel is alpine like and 8k + drive up the hill and along a narrow drive so once you are there your options of going anywhere else of a evening are virtually zero unless you want a hairy late night drive,an enormous taxi bill, or a 2 hour S.A.S type route march. The hotel is in a lovely setting, the staff were friendly and efficient and the place was clean and well run.,also there is a fantastic bulldog called romeo that is in charge of the place .

Extremely professional and friendly staff, making you feel instantly at home. The kitchen is top-notch, creating mouth-watering dishes in an extraordinary positive atmosphere. The breathtaking view of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains will leave you in awe. And unlike most hotels in Italy, the heated rooms provide ultimate comfort. This place is an absolute gem that you'll never want to leave!

We recently had the most amazing stay at this luxurious hotel up in the mountains overlooking the beautiful lake. The location was absolutely stunning and the views were breathtaking. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We especially loved the cozy sitting area and the terrace where we could enjoy our morning coffee while taking in the panoramic scenery. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They provided excellent room service and took care of all our needs with their attentive and personalized service.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

What an amazing New Year at this wonderful hotel in Lake Garda! The hotel was perfectly situated in a prime location, with stunning views of the lake and the mountains. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were well-furnished, spacious and clean with a well-stocked mini bar. The highlight of our stay was the delicious food served in the restaurant. Their breakfast buffet was impressive with plenty of options, and their dinner menu offered a great selection of local and international dishes. We also enjoyed the fantastic wine selection, perfectly complemented by the stunning views.
Our relaxing getaway was somewhat disrupted by the noise levels at the hotel. There was some noise from the hotel's corridors, which was disturbing for a light sleeper like me.

The hotel's breathtaking views were the highlight of my stay. From up on the mountain, I had a stunning view down the lake from the hill. The facilities were excellent, especially the outstanding pool area and hot tub. Breakfast was top-notch, with plenty of delicious choices. The staff were amazing, offering outstanding service throughout my stay.
Could not be improved in any way.

Located at the foot of a hill, the view from this hotel down the lake is simply breathtaking. The infrastructure is charming, with lovely decorated cozy rooms, fully equipped bathrooms, and a nice pool area. The friendly and responsive personnel make you feel at home from the very beginning. The restaurant serves delicious home-cooked meals with fresh ingredients and local wine. There are plenty of activities, such as hiking or swimming in nearby attractions. Don't forget to enjoy breakfast with the stunning lake view.
The hotel might not be suitable for those looking for a modern design hotel, but the cozy homey ambiance compensates for it.

The Seresina family made us feel like part of their crew, not just some random guests. The location was straight fire, like no other place in the world. Seriously, they had everything - nature, history, culture, and fun! The evenings by the lake were poppin' with events. And the bike route, bro, it was off the hook! Not gonna lie, it felt like we were in a movie every day.
If I had to ask for one thing, it would be a bit more turn-up for us young party animals. Don't get me wrong, the hotel was dope, but it would've been even better if there were more activities and events specifically for us to go wild and have a blast.
