  AMAZING view over Florence, out --the smell from that room was terrible --the dog barks in the hotel at 4 in the morning -- was so bad was funny --we ate dinner their and the service was warm. The bed was comfortable.

  Interior of the bath was kind of old and breakfast was very simple.

  Wonderful overview over the city of florence and just have fun --that food was not even truck stop quality --anyway I find your service very helpfull thanks Linda Geisler. Our room was large and the sheets & towels were clean.

  Provisions available in a one or two day stay, very good helpful staff and the bathroom looked better - renovated lately. The food excellent.

• "Charming with lots of potential"

  stayed at the Villa Rondini several years ago and found it like an old, quaint villa in the countryside rather than a suburb of Florence. It is very quite and the atmosphere drips with country charm. My room was in a seperate building quite a way from the main bldg. The exterior of this building lacked all charm. Access into the building and to my floor required navigating steps and a long dreary hall.

  The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was very good. The hotel didn't seem to be full but the pool was packed. I think they allow people from the area to pay to use the pool.

  Our room had a non-functioning A/C unit, and the add-on bedroom of our "mini-suite", which was actually a glassed-in portion of the balcony, had no window screens (well, who in Italy has screens anyway?

  this hotel was very poor. the room was nothing like what was shown on the internet. Rooms were dirty, bathrooms mouldy and rusted. This property was advertised as a 4 star - it was a 2 star at best!
