Have to say that although the hotel was first class I felt it was a little overpriced at 140 euros per person per night half board.
Restaurant in the hotel was fantastic but pricy, as all courses are included in the one cover price, and we were underdressed.
Breakfast was included in the hotel price and it was tasty and plentiful.
All in all the I would say that this hotel is definately not five star standard but merley a three star hotel with an ok location chaging five star prices and definately worth a miss.
Aside from the amazing location/situation, the hotel itself is an authentic European five-star plus.

The hotel is simply amazing, the location spectacular and the service impeccable.
The hotel is also only 20 Euros by taxi, from the airport, a mere 15 minutes away.
We booked directly with the hotel and got a good deal, three nights, half board and they sorted out the airport transfers too.
Rooms were large with tiled floors,huge bed and full bathroom.
The room although small was beautifully decorated and the bed very comfortable.
The rooms were comfortable with individual air conditioning, and although our bed was rather firm, it did not prevent a good nights sleep.
Its situation is accessible to the town, the food is good at the hotel and the rooms are very simple - bed.
We decided to treat ourselves so we had a suite, this was fabulous, with a huge lounge, a massive deck/balcony, a sumptious bedroom and a marble bathroom.
The dinner menu was such that we cancelled our table at one of the best known Alghero restaurants and decided to dine in the Villa Las Tronas restaurant.
Breakfasts were fine although there could have been a bit more variety, but then again we didn't order a cooked breakfast which we could have had, included in the price of course.
Food at the hotel is not up to the mark, much better to have lunch & dinner in city restaurants.
We ate in the at the hotel restaurant one evening which was excellent food and not too overpriced.
We stayed half board, I dont think I have ever eaten so much with all the courses, the food was amazing and breakfast was fantastic.
Efficient staff, large windows and the bar service round the pool discrete.
The Hotel Staff were smart and reception was polite.
Includes an efficient airport pickup, as soon as we arrived the hotel staff were polite and the service was great.
The staff could not have been more helpful - the hotel was small and friendly with excellent customer service.
They are putting in an indoor pool (heated), Turkish baths, etc - this new building will complement the existing spa/gym.
The rooms are excellent, the restaurant are spectacular and the spa - quite surprised you had to pay to use the sauna.
The pool all day Saturday was just gorgeous practically on the ocean, the spa areas was also nice and we loved this hotel was situated on the outskirts of the town centre.
In addition service was pleasant and the bedrooms kept spotless.
We awoke each day to the gentle sounds of fountains and birdsong and returned each day to a spotless room.
