Villa Ganz Guadalajara - 瓜达拉哈拉

Quiet garden in the heart of town, within walking distance to lots of great restaurants and the location was excellent as well.

I can't tell you how important location is in Guadalajara and this is the best!

I can certainly echo those praising the Villa Ganz’s old world charm, relaxing ambience, antique-filled rooms, fresh flowers, and lovely gardens but I disagree with criticism of the location.

They couldn’t do enough for us, whether it was making dinner reservations, personally escorting us to a cab and giving directions to the driver, providing suggestions on sights to see, or arranging private-car pickup and delivery at the airport.

For example, I was travelling alone and they did everything they could to provide reputable transportation to and from the airport as well as a private driver (Melchore) to give me an inside tour of the City my first day.

The bathroom had a nice, large walk-in tiled shower, tiled vanity, and newer toilet, but the water wasn't purified.

Linens and towels were fresh and immaculate, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The bed was unbelievably comfortable with very high quality bedding.

The bedding was superior, the bathroom was very clean and the bathtub was large.

The staff was very friendly and the bed was unbelievably comfortable.

You can eat in your room, in the garden, or in the sunny breakfast room overlooking the garden.

The Minerva/Chapultepec neighborhood is easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, shops and sights, including the Expiatory Temple and amazing Orozco murals at the University.

Additionally the breakfasts were always delicious.

Also this restaurant is in a lovely building near the tourist office and the staff are truly knowledgeable about the property.

The Villa Ganz is within walking distance or a short cab ride of many fine restaurants, including El Sacramonte (which we highly recommend).

Service was warm and friendly without being intrusive; the young people at the front desk called cabs for us, recommended restaurants and made reservations, and helped me track down my lost luggage.

Courteous and ultra professional staff, light meals available via room service, the pillows so comfortable.

Over by the attentive staff, very comfortable beds and reservations in the excellent restaurants.

Manager Cecilia Blanquel and a team of enthusiastic, bi-lingual and energetic young people provide Five-Star service.

The decor is wonderful, from the lobby you could view the beautiful back garden and the staff is very efficient.
