      The location was lovely and peaceful, and only a short distance away fom the hustle and bustle of the Medina - which was 10 minutes away and proved a very cheap taxi ride.

      The location is perfect, just outside the city (10 min by car)!

      We couldn't have wished for a better location, meal or atmosphere.

      Right from collection at the airport, e-mailing a menu for our first nights meal (excellent food), arranging all taxis and insisting that he was available at the end of a phone should we have any problems whatsoever, Omar was a star.

      He arranged for us to stay in an apartment in his apartment building, hooked us up with a rental car, and even arranged a taxi to the airport 3 days after we left Dar El Kanoun.

      We stayed in the Anabar suite and had plenty of space, really nice traditional decor in all rooms with modern amenities like cable TV with English channels.

      There is a lot of privacy in every room and the Anbar and Yasmine suites have their own terrace with ample room for 3 or 4.

      We stayed altogether on the ground floor, in the “Aanbar” twin room suite, which was cool, very well fitted out and furnished.

      We stayed in the Jasmine suite which was very comfortable with its own balcony seating area to relax in (most rooms appear to have this facility) spacious and luxurious and very Moroccan!

      The villa is beautiful and clean, rooms are very comfortable with all you need (satTV, aircon, minibar, private safe) and the breakfasts are exceptional.

      We simply left Omar to make restaurant bookings and enjoyed fantastic meals.

      We ate at the guesthouse one night and the food was fantastic as are the huge breakfasts which can be served in your room or downstairs, whenever you want it which is a real treat!

      Dar El Kanoun suited them perfectly, from the pool, to the food, and even the English DVDs; baby-sitting was a breeze and allowed my wife and I to enjoy a couple of fantastic restaurants by ourselves.

      We have made feel very welcome since the beginning and received first class recommendations for restaurants and activities.

      Nothing was too much trouble, from arranging the taxis for us, booking restaurants in advance or preparing us the best dinner we had during all our stay.

      The food, location, service, staff were A+++.

      What sets Dar El Kanoun appart is the staff and service.

      Service and hospitality from Omar, Geraldine and the staff was exceptional.

      Whenever we needed a concierge, Omar knew who to call.

      The garden, swimming pool and outside communal areas were all beautifully looked after, with wonderful plants, lighting, furniture and other features just about everywhere we looked.

      The lovely garden has a small pool, which would be a boon in summer.

      Lovely villa, pretty garden and pool, wonderful food, and Omar and his staff on hand to help.

        The location is perfect, omar’s Taxi Teams are cheap and cheerful, the place is very comfortable homely. Thirdly the house - the bedrooms are spacious and the entire staff is very pleasant. The breakfasts are exceptional, der Pool war super.

        The location was lovely and peaceful, all in all an excellent stay - I had been to Marrakech before, service was attentive discrete. Our rooms were beautiful, food was perfect.

        This new residential area is well maintained and this place is great. Staff is very accommodating and the rooms are large very comforatable. The food here is superb, the garden is a real oasis of calm.

        Far enough from the center of the city to be peaceful, dinner is very high quality and their staff are the perfect hosts -- unobtrusive. Moreover rooms are very comfortable, food is amazing.

        Staying at the Dar El Kanoun was the best decision we could have made, the Yasmine Suite was very large and breakfast on the terrace was a wonderful way to start the day.
