45 minute drive to beautiful Lake Maggiore and the location is entirely convenient.

The location is entirely convenient and this hotel is set above tranquil lake Maggiore.

I strongly recommend it, not only for the service and price, but for the location as well.

Close to a perfect hotel experience, from the moment we walked in after long overnight flight to Malpensa and drive (about one hour) from airport to hotel.

Private beach was large but rather unkempt garden area with steps leading to about a foot of dirty pebbles.

Our room was poorly laid out and uncomfortable, the walls stark, the bed exceedingly hard, and the bathroom minimally clean.

Both our rooms were facing the lake but the one room, 207, had a better bathroom with two sinks and a larger bathroom while 202 was not really a comparable room being smaller and only with a single sink.

Our room was beautiful (the bedroom upstairs and the living room and luxurious bathroom downstairs) and overlooked the Boromean Islands.

No drawers , just shelves in the wardrobe , and 2 single beds placed together , when a double bed was requested.

Service - I didn't check on booking whether the rate quoted was bed and breakfast or room only.

The food in the restaurant whether for breakfast or dinner was some of the best that we have ever had,and let's not forget the delicious cappuccino.

With one or two notable exceptions the staff lack charm and appear to have one ambition - to get the meal over and done with and the breakfast room/restaurant closed.

Dining rooms are awesome and the restaurants are bright and cheerful.

We found this restaurant at Hotel Aminta better than any of the places we ate in Milano.

The food was very good in both restaurants, with the service attentive and good.

The reception was nice enough, yet almost every front desk employee seemed terminally distracted.

Reception staff wonderful and hot shower.

The lake the room was exceptionally clean, the staff at the hotel was great and reception were excellent.

Great hotel, beautiful decor, good service, excellent staff, good breakfast.

Wonderful atmosphere, clean, attractive, helpful staff, reasonable parking, excellant food, view from the rooms could not be better, good pool.

For the rest of our stay we found no fault as a 5 star hotel should be, but do remember this hotel has a busy main road in the front on the lakeside and a busy railway line behind, so the garden and pool areas are always noisy.

Our traveling companion, a single woman, was given a room across from the elevator with the "garden view" and she was extremely disappointed.

We hade a nice room overlooking the Islands and pool area clean.

The room was very clean and the restaurant staff were friendly and courteous.

Also room was very clean, our food was absolutely delicious and waiters happy to offer alternatives you did not like chioces offered.

Our room was very nice facing the lake and hotel was very clean.

We were given a room with the best view of the lake and the Islands, the décor was very nice and room was very clean.
