Very peaceful location, great food this hotel is part of the relais and the most of staff members are friendly and helpful.
The Vila Monte is a first class hotel set in beautiful gardens only 30 minutes from Faro airport, but feels a million miles.
Lovely 3 bedroom apartment, huge fluffy towels and great personalized chef prepared food.
Our Room was spotlessly clean and simply furnished and a stylish modern bathroom; with really good quality toiletries, bathrobes and huge fluffy towels.
Our one complaint was that the light in the bedroom was poor for reading and the room itself was a bit small.
Room was tired, not altogether clean and poorly decorated.
Really nice personnel and the rooms of a very good standard.
Good restaurant adjacent to the main building, the food in the pool bar was simple well-cooked local style food and staff were very helpful.
Spacious and comfortable rooms, the pool bar for simple lunches, the dining in the Orangerie restaurant is superb.
The main Orangrie restaurant that is in a dramatically stylish room, breakfast is very good.
A word of warning - CN TRaveller recommended the Vila Monte hotel; 'the restaurant with uninterrupted sea views and excellent cuisine'.
The formal restaurant’s food was of a very high standard, with local ingredients given a sophisticated twist; dishes were prepared with care, understanding and skill.
The exterior zones are quite beautiful, all staff is kind and internet access should be as free.
