I couldn’t really fault the hotel, just expected something a bit more special for the price.
Don't get me wrong, it is a good hotel, but for the cost I thought it was quite expensive for what you got.
I had to pay 5 Euro to log on to the hotel computer to email them my reservation confirmation.
Great location and i've never been in a similar hotel.

The Vila Gale is perched over the sea at the foot of the fantastic seaside town of Ericeira, and is a fully updated modern hotel in the shell of a 1920s-era resort property.
We book a car from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport with EV Tours - through Booked.net.
The rooms themselves were very clean and well-apportioned, and the bathrooms (with bidet, bathtub/shower, and towel warmers) were completely spotless.
Seaside rooms are incredible -- particularly if you are able to secure a room with a balcony -- and were a great value at around 75 euros for a double room.
Make all attempts to avoid booking a room with a view of the town, as most of these rooms overlook a parking lot and demolition site.
The staff were wonderful, the bathrooms were completely spotless and towels were also provided free a charge.

Our first meal there was the buffet breakfast,and I must say the choice was superb, there was both hot and cold food,and even a 'light choice' for people watching their weight (impossible with all the other food on display).

A morning breakfast buffet is included in the hotel price, and the food offered in it was, most unusually, actually quite palatable.
