We found it a clean, value for money well run hotel ,in wonderfull surroundings, and would not hesitate to return for another visit if we travel to Vietnam again.
Although the room rate is expensive when compared to other hotels, they provide that kind of qualities for charging the price.
Deluxe rooms fine as was the location outside town - but the sound of the river trafic never stops.
Loved the hotel, not too sure Mekong Delta at least at this location merited the 4 hour drive from Saigon , nevertheless we enjoyed our stay at the Victoria.
Would recommend going to town for dinner (a quick water taxi or shuttle bus ride away), as the evening menu was expensive and only so-so.
Get minibus taxi into Can Tho on a night - go to Nam Bo and walk along the prom, with the rest of the town.
The rooms are spacious and the beds are great.
The bathroom was the size of some of the other hotel rooms.
We had booked the suite and it's beautiful room.
We had riverview suites- well worth the extra, rooms beautifully (if plainly) furnished, lots of wood etc around, and very spacious.
We stayed in both the normal room and a suite, and were disappointed with both, If you're going to stay in the delta, then this is probably your best hotel, but don't go there with high expectations.
We ate in their restaurant outside - it is so peaceful and the buffet is the best I have ever had - am amazing mix of local and western cuisine.
We were also disappointed with the relative inattention of the staff in the dining and bar areas.
There were long delays in being offered beverages after arrival in the dining room and bar, while visible staff members were engaged in conference behind the bar.
In the evening we made our way to the restaurant and took a table outside.
It is quite charming -- open-air, Indochina-colonial-style lobby and bar, wood floors throughout.
Big deep wicker chairs, some serious tile work on the floors, and stays up late with nothing but delightful service from the staff.
Discreet but excellent service in a hotel of the old style.
On arrival we were greeted with a cold towel and a fruit cocktail and the check in was performed by smart, polite front of house staff.
We dined that evening on beautiful well presented food with wonderful service.
My husband spent some time on the issue and they moved us to another "garden view" room which overlooked some scraggly trees and and the employee parking lot.
Oasis around central pool with welcome ice cold towels and welcome drink on arrival.
The pool is great: really shallow at one end, and good and deep at the other (hate pools without a gradient, what's the point?
The room was massive,spotlessly clean and well equiped.
The rooms are new, clean and air conditioned.
Lovely having fresh fruit in your room every day.

The bathroom had cracked and dirty tiles and grout was falling off the walls in the shower area.

Hotel pool is very nice, the food served was first class and not expensive. Lovely having fresh fruit in your room every day.

Spent a couple of hours by the pool on very comfortable beds with huge towels supplied and good pool service. In the evening we took the hotels shuttle boat to Can Tho which was very handy.
