We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful hotel. The apartments were very spacious, fully furnished and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Located just a few minutes away from the beach and shops, we had easy access to everything we needed. the natural tropical gardens surrounding the great swimming pool made our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside we found was the slow internet connection, but it wasn't a big deal as we were in paradise. However, we had to keep the blinds closed in our bedroom all the time because it faced the neighbor's swimming pool.

What an excellent location with hosts at the property that really make your stay awesome. Sue and her husband were a wealth of information and always very helpful and friendly. Truly our best holiday ever. We hope to return in a couple of years when our children are a little older and can enjoy the reef. The facilities and the location of the apartments was the best. Thank you thank you thank you

Nothing - everything was perfect...

verandahs was a well appointed 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment. The location was fantastic, we walked everywhere to all restaurants and to the beach. The managers of the place were fantastic, very accommodating and nothing was too much effort, they were lovely.

Incredible welcome, amazing staff, well-located apartment, perfect garden and pool.

The apartment was well equipped and provided a cozy and comfortable stay. The heated swimming pool was a plus point, making swimming enjoyable even in the winter season. the location was prime, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the recommendations for local dining and activities.

Though the apartment had almost everything we needed, the furniture in the living room seemed overused and faded, making it less comfortable. the three flights of stairs would have been a challenge if we had more significant luggage.

Very friendly and helpful owners of this family run business. The apartment was well appointed and clean and very comfortable. The location was superb with a short walk to both the main strip of shops or the beach.

The blinds in the bedrooms were great for shutting out the light at night, however when you opened them in the morning there was no privacy from neighbouring rooms/apartments. A curtain that allowed light and partial viewing outside would allow the blinds to be opened but still maintain privacy.

We liked the location very much, close to the beach and amenities and the warmly welcome!

Located in the heart of everything, it's easy to access all the area has to offer. It is just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful beach, Macrossan Street and amazing coffee shops. The swimming pool and garden are lovely but limited in size, which could be challenging if many guests are wishing to use it at the same time.

Sue and staff were so friendly and helped with booking tours , the accomodation is modern and very clean and close to everything, we felt relaxed because you are made to feel so welcome, I would highly recommend the Verandah

I loved the location of the hotel, as it was near everything in this city. The apartment had an amazing living area, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly, and they provided me with good tips for transportation and breakfast. Additionally, the hotel was sparkling clean throughout my stay.

Sue was fantastic and very welcoming. She shared information about the apartment and about the stay in Port Douglas. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. The pool area was lovely and the pool inself clean and very refreshing.

Layout of unit excellent for a family.

Everything in the unit was excellent, except for 2 things - Cleaniness of main bathroom, mould and grime in places on floor and behind the cistern. Floor tiles need a good scrub in bathroom and in the outdoor bbq area. Might be a qld thing, but unit did smell a touch mouldy on some days????
