Overview

Located rather far from the city center, the five-star Venus Beach Hotel is situated beside the beach in close to the Tombs of the Kings.

Renovated in 2009, the hotel building is a mix of modern and classical style with luxury interior.

All 216 excellent guest rooms, including 14 executive suites and two presidential suites, with sea or mountains views.

The hotel has three restaurants and bars, which serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For business guests the hotel offers small meeting rooms with secretarial services and audio-visual equipment.

The hotel features separate children’s pool, swimming pool with built-in whirlpools and solarium. Active guests can enjoy workout in the gym and play tennis or billiards.

An English-type buffet breakfast is available for the guests of the hotel for free.

Anemone breakfast room and terrace serves an English buffet breakfast and rich international buffet breakfast from 7am to 10am.

Nefeli Restaurant and Coffee shop and terrace offer buffet and a la carte lunch from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, offering a large selection of freshly cooked dishes and snacks, available all day.

Ariadne dining room is non-smoking, offering buffets and set menus, theme nights and ‘a la carte’ menu, serving local and international cuisine. Dinner is available from 7pm to 10pm. The menu consists of Cypriot, Greek and international dishes.

There are three bars, called Bachhus Bar and Terrace, Kyveli Bar and Pool Bar, open on a daily basis and offer variety of exotic, local and international drinks as well as ‘a la carte’ snack menu.

The location is good and internally the hotel is clean and modern.
The staff were always helpful and the receptionist was wonderful in sorting out my hospital.
Reasonable prices at the pool bar, the huge variety in the breakfast and chloes – excellent Chinese.

Paphos international airport (PFO) is in 10.4km

From the airport:

· Head west and at the end of motorway A6 at a major roundabout take the first exit left to Kato Paphos. Then continue straight ahead and take the second exit and comes a third roundabout. At the roundabout take the third exit to the Coral Bay, keep straight until the archaeological site Tombs of the Kings on the left-hand side. The hotel is directly on the left.

Area was cleaned daily, and water very inviting, the room was reasonable very clean and comfortable.

Food was dreadful hotel did not live up to 5 star expectations no ', the staff were quite unhelpful and not very friendly, the breakfast layout was really unorganized.

Reception is lovely as was the bar area and pool area, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed.

Rooms are quite poorly furnished and cleaned, its dirty, the staff are rude, the food is poor and its very dated.

Excellent value for money and generally nice staff. Breakfast very good.

The drinks were very expensive possibly double the amount of any bar in the area and our room was clean and perfectly adequate for two adults and a five year old.

All the areas are clean and the room facilities are far away from any 5 star hotel. The older staff are very good at avoiding you, the bed is big and comfortable, the food is great and you have lots of variety. The music round the pool is just the right volume.

Pool area was fantastic and the dinner was also very poor, not too much choices again for a 5stars hotel and also not tasty. All staff were very friendly and my room was large enough and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was also poor.

The pool staff were friendly and the location was nice, the hotel was clean and had all the facilities advertised. The shower was powrful and didn't run out of hot water, cocktails and drink offers were very good.
