  Lovely hot bath after a day at the races was lovely, the food was excellent and the staff very friendly.

  Overall a great stay, we arrived after a long drive and the lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was in the main part and was acceptable, the cooked breakfast was fine; freshly cooked and hot, the receptionist we arrived was nice.

  Breakfast was the only good thing about our entire stay and staff were pleasant. The room was clean and warm, the bar meals were fine.

  Mattresses were in very poor condition and sheets stained, the receptionist was not very helpful.

  Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff and the central heating was on and there was a musty, mouldy smell. Breakfast was perfectly good.

  Good value and friendly staff. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and new white towels, the host was very attentive and the food was out of this world.

  Nice hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was not always tidied up / cleaned each day, breakfast was the best part, the cheap sausages was good.

  My stay at the dene hotel was very enjoyable, girls on reception were excellent and the bed lined was ripped at the bottom and just stuffed in to cover this up. Breakfast was barely adequate and staff were lack lustre.

  This place is not too bad, inside, the staff are friendly and helpful, oh and heating and hot water would also be nice. The food is very good.

  All in all a very pleasant stay, would stay again and staff very friendly and helpful. New beds in all our rooms and really comfortable new mattresses, breakfast adequate.

  Receptionist not very customer friendly, room good value for money and also great pub for food next door The Oaklands.

  Very tired, sad hotel and service slow. Drinks were expensive in the bar.
