By taxi it takes around 65kuna to the pile(old city) from hotel and it takes 260kuna for airport.
We paid 50 Euros for a pre-booked minibus (there was 6 of us) from the airport to the hotel, about 30 mins journey but there were loads of taxis outside the terminal waiting.
I requested a quiet room and it was so far away I only heard birdsong.
Rooms are wide and fully air condittoned.
400 stairs to get to the pool and back to a room, there is one rampo but then it just randomly stops!
The situation was also lovely and the views from the rooms which overlook the sea was beautiful.
All in all I would highly recomemend the hotel, especially at the all-inclusive room rate we paid.
If you want to eat or drink anything outside of the very regimented breakfast (7-9.
The only time you don't have to pay extra for ANYTHING, is with your meal at meal times, Breakfast 7.
Not great after breakfast and heading out for the day to smell like a fryer.
Nor could you escape from them at the beach bar, or the outside balcony of the lobby bar.
The poolside bar, lobby bar and beach cafe all charge 15K for a bottle of water, 20K for a beer etc.
We missed our flight home and Smilja, manager of the reception sorted everything out for us.
We went in the October half term and although it was the last week of the season, we were well looked after by the staff and the facilities were wonderful.
The bus stop is on the main road just along from the hotel entrance of the road, you need to walk a couple of 100 metres up the hotel service road which is asteep incline but nothing any able bodied person wouldn't cope with.
The staff bent over backwards to be helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Pool is great with plenty of sunbeds but is cold.
They also had an excellent pool area and everwhere was beautifully clean.
We didn't really get any use from the pool and sports faclilities but there looked to be a wide offering.
The rooms although basic where clean and well presented, although we did pay the small premium for sea views and I'm not totatly sure but suspect that some of the lower charged rooms might be in need of a refurb.
A clean environment with reasonably nice rooms.
