Over all would certainly recommend the hotel for a basic, value for money stay and would definatley return.
Close to bus station 6 to go to old city center, excellent value for money - a lovely three star hotel and for your evening meals you don't get free drinks.
Most parts of the hotel were fine but I found the room to be mediocre at best for the money.
Good value accommodation in a good location, this is an excellent hotel and lots of great restaurants there the 'CASA' is the best.
Nicely situated on the quiet peninsula outside Dubrovnik main town, beautiful location and the bus that brings you to the old city stopped close to the hotel.
The reason for this early finish appears to be the location of the bar in the open lobby and the fact that the bedrooms seem to be situated just above the open bar.
Good location close to the beach, the hotel staff is extremely helpful and the food is certainly not bad.
We had organised a free airport transport with the hotel group, but at first the staff seemed unwilling to help when we asked what time the transfer would pick us up, and claimed to know nothing about it.
Location excellant, about 15 min bus ride away costing 80p and running every 5 minutes.
We considered this excellent value: a comfortable double room with 6' bed, seaview, sparkling bathroom, new TV, aircon and frig for £28 each.
The rooms are clean, but don't expect any frills - the air conditioning is decent at best, and otherwise all you have is an average bed, bathroom and nothing else.
The furniture was fine, it had a mini-bar, the bed was very comfy, and the bathroom was in fairly good shape and large.
The bed was comfy, the bathroom more than adequate for Europe, and a balcony.
Our room was a decent size, and had comfortable beds, a great shower, and very efficient air conditioning.
Very nice beach-side bar/restaurant with very reasonable prices too.
I'm not sure how I was able to find the restaurant every day for breakfast - but I am sure glad I did!
As I arrived after the restaurant was closed already and the food on the plane was terrible, I wondered if there was still something to eat.
Food at breakfast and evening meal was a good standard and continually topped up, not waiting for items to run out.
There are plenty of choices in the old town for eating out, although I recommend walking around and checking a few restaurants before deciding where to eat.
Pool area was clean, the hotel staff was great and the service was very efficient and friendly.
The view of the see was fantastic, the staff were the best I've ever experienced in any hotel and excellent service was received.
The bus that stops outside the hotel runs a very frequent service and you can buy your tickets cheaper at reception.
The hotel is nice, reception staff is mostly friendly and the beds are very comfy.
The decor of the lobby is very 70's so we didn't spend much time there.
We explored all the pool's of the sister hotels located right next to Argosy.
The pool was a bit of a let-down, especially the music which was non-stop and unnecessary.
The room was clean, breakfast was absolutely fantastic and evening dinner was good.
Hotel entertainment was not amazing, but the rooms were clean and spacious, all of the staff were friendly, polite and helpful and the breakfast buffet was huge!
