Vagabond Inn Redding - 雷丁

The furniture in the room was noticabley shaby, some rooms seem to have fridge and micros while others do not ,and the heating cooling system did little but make noise.

The bed was comfortable and there was also a table and two chairs--a nice touch.

The bathroom was more than adequate, and my request for more pillows and a packet of decaf coffee for the in-room coffeemaker was filled quickly.

The toilet wouldn't flush, so we temporarily fixed it ourselves (broken chain) which was a good thing, since when we reported it to the staff they stated that there was no repairman on site (however, they did offer to give us another room).

Altho the room was clean & quiet, the shower control was broken, NO TV remote, only 1 light bulb for 3 lamps, NOT heated pool, AND NO PHONE!

My only minor complaints were that the air conditioner clanked at Low speed (reported to the desk), and the "continental breakfast" consisted of nothing but coffee, donuts, and apples.

The Manager refuses to take or return my calls & has refused to discount the price, after a sweet agent from Vagabond spoke with him.

Rooms at the Vagabond were clean and roomy, but smelled of smoke.
