The location is next to the Marathi palace museum and is not next to the fort, which is not really a bad thing.
Good location is a good value for money, usha Kiran Palace is the best place to stay in Gwalior and staff are very well trained.
We were upgraded to a suite which was palatial to say the least - acres of marble floor, sunken bath, a 'phone next to the loo.
We were upgraded to the suites when a local wedding party needed all the other rooms.
The rooms were nice plus bathrooms were modern and clean.
I say "room" but it was about 30 feet by 20, with a room sized lobby & bath/shower room on the same scale.
In my parents room the air conditioning was also not effective enough to cool the room.
Additionally lovely four poster beds, amazing bar and the indian food in this restaurant was very nice.
In the bar at night was also great fun learning to play billiards, the restaurant staff was equally as nice and dinner was all the more enjoyable for its tasty preparations.
Luxurious rooms and the restaurant provided one of our best meals in India.
The hotel has beautiful lawns, the staff was very pleasant and the food was good at breakfast.
We dined at the restaurant for lunch and dinner.
A warm welcome at reception typifies the excellent service received, staff all extremely friendly and nice and big rooms.
Delightful staff on reception, stylish bathrooms and food is also very good.
Service is good we enjoyed the stay of 3 days and staff are friendly without being overfamiliar.
This hotel features great bathrooms and the service of the staff was quite high.
There is a spa and swimming pool, beautiful grounds, food was good and the staff fall at your feet.
I had a few treatments at the spa which were excellent.
The Spa was apparently good, but it was more a holistic type thing than a power massage.
We had rather spacious rooms which were cool, clean and very nicely furnished in tones of green.
