For the money paid, this hotel represented excellent value, and would stay here again.
To sum up, I'd stay here again, but I'd only be willing to pay around £65 per night for the privelege; I feel the hotel are relying on their location to keep the price of rooms artificially high.
Breakfast was well worth the effort, despite the usual high hotel price.
Otherwise - ok - but there must be better hotels in Cambridge especially at this price!

Room 135: large king sized bed - very comfortable.
We chose the 'standard King' - massive bed but still plenty of space in the room.
The en-suite bathroom was ridiculously small: like can't access the toilet or the sink if the shower door is open.
The breakfast was quite good, and we didn't eat at the hotel restaurant for dinner, but had two great meals within a block or two of the hotel.
The room was clean, the bar was extremely friendly and the restaurant foods was so nice.
Included in our rate was a full English breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs.
The service at the breakfast and the bar was extremely friendly, with the help going out of their way to explain what some unfamiliar things were on the menu, and for tips on what to do in town.
Bar staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, the breakfast was lovely.

On arrival we had to wait 10 minutes at the front desk to check in before we were acknowledged by staff with very poor customer service skills.

A fantatsic lift runs right through the centre of the building!

Ok, so the decor is typically English in the rooms (floral, but not ott) however ours was SERIOUSLY clean, had a gorgeous view of the park and lots of tea and coffee provisions.
Clean rooms are an asset and i like my breakfast the best.
The rooms are clean and comfy, do you offer old fashioned afternoon tea.
The bathroom was clean and adequate with a great shower.
The room was clean, the breakfast was very good.
