Great location and useful parking facilities.

We have been staying at this hotel when we visit Cambridge for the last two and a half years because our daughter is at uni there. It would be nice your staff (prompted of course by the computer!) could acknowledge that. Bathroom on this occasion was v small and basic - but then we paid a basic price for the room.

It was the night before I got married and was booked into a newly refurbished room, executive double. I loved the room. I havent seen the photos yet but the photogragher loved the room. Really very pleased!

Nothing comes to mind. The front of the hotel has too modern a look compared to the rest of the building.

      In city centre, very convenient.

My room is very small, no space for anything other than one luggage. I spent 485 £ for 3 nights no Breakfast included and having such a small room. It wasn't worth the money.

comfort, central location, courteous service, prompt service, clear explanations, nice atmosphere. though to be honest it was just as I expected.

      The shower dripped all night.

Good friendly service in the Breakfast Room

Very off-hand service in R17, poor value dinner menu. Disappointing

      Great staff and great location.

The decor in our room was very dated and tired. The bathroom ceiling was in a poor state of repair and the window frames were discoloured and peeling. I decided not to use the shower and wait till I got home!

Location and staff were good. Hospitality was very good.

Black mould/scum collected in the shower area (Room 130).

      Convenient location and excellent breakfast.

Room not fully prepared. No soap or shampoo etc when we arrived but corrected. Link to Wi Fi a problem in the evening but eventually resolved by Night Manager. Should be more readily accessible.

Top of the list - the bed linen - it was amazing - but that's just me!! Cleanliness of the hotel. Went down for breakfast and all the staff were really friendly and attentive. Location was spot on especially with the rain we are having at the moment.

The only gripe was the check in. Waited a long time. Only one member of staff on who seemed a bit vague.

Lovely character hotel. Old charm and excellent buffet breakfast. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Went in October and think hotel were using their winter duvets as they were very thick and too hot. Minor thing but did make sleeping bit uncomfortable.

Breakfast staff was nice and helpful, lead as to window table in both two days of our stay, very nice.

Room cleanliness wasn't appropiate, found a tissue on our bathroom floor while entering the room first day.

Very large and comfortable bed, very close to town centre, eccentric lift.

      Rather faded, needs renovation.
