Uhu Villa

A beautiful little hotel in a peaceful hilly location and friendly staff.

We spent a few nights at the Villa in early October and we loved the location.

From the airport we took the bus 2OO (single tickets are sold at the newsagent at the airport) to the subway station (Metro) Kobanya-Kispest.

The taxi from the airport to the hotel took a reasonable 40 mins, although we were charged more than had been previousy agreed with the hotel who arranged the transport.

Our room, a Junior Suite, was quite comfortable: king size bed, quiet, wireless internet access, two overstuffed chairs in the sitting area, mini-bar, TV with english speaking channels among the choices.

We stayed in a junior suite – it was spacious, large bed, air conditioning, mini bar and a huge window with views into the hills.

The furniture in the guest room is basically IKEA, showing some wear.

Courteous staff, large bed and its good breakfast in a sunny morning.

The bathroom was quite small compared to the room but it had everything you needed and the fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed, but the morning breakfast was a wonderful treat.

Cheerful breakfast room, great food and excellent by european standards.

Breakfasts are very good and the evening meal we had was excellent and exceeded our expectations.

Roomy bedroom that had beautiful views over the forests of the Buda Hills, the staff at the hotel were all very friendly and veronica at the reception was very helpful.

The reception staff was always helpful ( arranging sightseeing tours, recommending where to go and where to not go).

The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and even the night staff greeted us with a smile when on two nights running we turned back up at the hotel at around 5am after being out all night.

The villa is very comfortable, with a choice of sitting rooms and a garden, pool and sauna.

Although the hotel was full, we were delighted on each occassion to find we had the sauna and pool to ourselves.

The host Eszter was outstanding, polite and looked after both myself and my wife and other guests in everyway, the pool and sauna was so relaxing and th Villa most beautiful.

The staff were charming, the bathrooms were clean.

After two days we moved to the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus which is right in the center of town-It was a breath of fresh air-lovely, courteous staff and awesome room.
