Tunnel Mountain Resort is very good value, in an excelent location.

The hotel's location is less than a five minute drive to the town.

We loved that this resort was removed from downtown Banff - $5 taxi or 3 minute drive or 15 min walk.

Although the Tunnel Mountain is outside of Banff centre, it is quiet and very peaceful and only about 7 minutes taxi ride away.

The bed was about the biggest I've ever seen, the TV was a good size (the DVD player is NOT region-free however) the bathroom had a jetted tub and steam shower (didn't try the latter) and there was a small indoor pool and hot tubs available.

The room has a gas fireplace, black leather sofa, king size bed, jacuzzi tub, steam shower, heated ceramic tiles in the bathroom, fridge, microwave, desk, TV/VCR, and patio.

As previously said, Heated floor, Steam room in shower, Jaccuzi bath, Microwave, Coffee maker, Fridge, King bed, Huge TV, Electric fireplace with nice log fire effect, Good sized balcony, leather settee, etc, etc.

Room comprised steam room/shower, bath/jacuzzi, heated tiled floor, microwave, fridge, huge tv, dvd player with rentals at front desk, fireplace, aircon, huge double bed, sofa, balcony, dressing gowns.

Small shop accross the road and lovely bar/restaurant attatched to the hotel across the road.

We ate all our dinners downtown and breakfasts in the room.

We ended up having breakfast at our Chalet and then packed a lunch for our day trips.

20 minute, pleasant walk to Banff Avenue to all the shops and restaurants, or a $5.

This hotel is charming, quick drive into town and friendly and helpful front desk staff.

The facilities include a pool, sauna, gym, steam room, jacuzzi and bbqs.

We enjoyed the facilites that Tunnel Mountain had to offer such as the pool, hot tub, jacuzzi, sauna and exercise room.

There was a pool and sauna you could use and internet facilities.
