Tulip Inn Budapest Millennium - 布达佩斯

Good location within 5 min walk to the metro.

While clean and comfortable, the hotel really isn't in the most convenient location for a tourist.

The location was absolutely no problem for using public transportation.

If you happen to be arriving by train at Keleti Pu station, you can skip Metro and just take the #24 tram that originates across the street from the Park hotel - get off at Nagyvarad ter in only a few stops.

Metro station about 2 mins from the hotel - we preferred to go to Nepliget.

As in many central European hotels, a "double" room means twin beds, and the air conditioning is inefficient.

While the rooms were thankfully air-conditioned & reasonably sized, the beds, pillows, linen etc were extremely uncomfortable.

The room was big and it had a mini bar and satellite TV.

The bathroom was clean, but with no hairdryer, and the room had a dirty carpet on the floor and dirty curtains which did not smell very well.

Small hard bed with tiny pillows; bland particle-board furniture; bad breakfast; drunken sports team in the hallways -- this is a hotel only a budget tour company could find acceptable.

The breakfast buffet was ample: hot food like scrambled eggs, sausages & French toast, hams and cheeses, a salad bar, different types of bread, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee.

After return to the hotel at late night we got room keys and the breakfast was excellent: included various types of good food.

There are no restaurants or convenience stores near the hotel (but you pass an ATM walking from Nagyvarad ter), but there are a few fast-fast food options in the Metro stations.

The lounge area is not that comfortable to sit for ages but ok for a quick drink at the bar.

Breakfast is good in terms of quality of food but on the 2 days we were there the staff were overrun and the breakfast room overcowded.

Hotel is immaculate - clean, smart reception - VERY friendly and helpful staff.

The front desk staff was courteous and helpful.

We arrived at the Orangeways Bus Station near by Tulip Inn and hotel staff is nice and helpful.

Modestly but stylishly furnished, with standard amenities, but no hair dryer or coffee-tea service.

The hotel staff all seemed to speak excellent English and were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were pleasant enough, but way too busy to be of any help.

In the basement there is a fitness center with sauna, whirlpool, and tanning booth, but there is an extra charge for these services.

The room was very clean and comfortable, but it was on the side of the hotel facing a major street.

The room was really big and clean, we paid Euro36/night including breakfast.

Large and clean room, good variety for breakfast.

Hotel held our lugguges inside their front desk and the room was clean.

Otherwise, the room is clean and comfortable.
