Tulip Inn Biarritz Louisiane - 比亚里茨

The Tulip Inn is in an excellent location and the Hotel is of a good standard.

The good points are that it is priced well and in a super location, just 5 mins away from La Grande Plage.

We found the location of this hotel ideal.

Would just like to thank the previous person for the tip on the no 6 bus from the airport excellent service and would say to anyone going to Biarritz always check the buses out first.

The bus does indeed go door to door, hotel to airport, and I went back to the airport by bus.

I booked a family room for 3 we had a small twin room with a put me up bed wedged beetween two single beds.

Whilst our bedroom and bathroom were clean, the design of the room was very dated and the beadspread etc.

The Tv (just a small monitor) was high up on the wall, practically touching the ceiling, so after a short time of viewing, one had an aching neck de luxe, whether sitting on the terrible chair or lying down on the bed.

The bathroom was well looked after and the shower, toilet and sink looked new.

But expect a bed for the night - nothing else!

Receptionists were very helpful and pleasant (and spoke English) Restaurant was expensive (cost about 100 euros for a meal for 5 (2 kids meal) and breakfast is 8 euros but there are lots of cafes/bakeries which sell crossaints at a fraction of that.

If you are not down early (they start serving breakfast at 07.

Breakfast was a bit expensive at 8 euros but was plentiful eggs, cold meats and cheeses as well as fruit, yogurts and breads and pastries.

The only downfall I have with this hotel is the breakfast.

Comfortably close to bars and restaurants without the rowdiness.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful especially since I speak no french at all!

Good location, receptionist was not helpful in getting train times and other than one of the staff was unfriendly.

Surly staff, reception doesn't know if restaurant will be open the same night ; leaky shower cabin; no air conditioning and impossible to sleep because of noise when window is open.

Clean, comfortable and pleasant hotel, charming and helpful staff.

The rooms though small are clean and comfortable and the garden and swimming pool were great to relax in.

There is free parking locally but it's hit and miss as to whether you can get it.

Parking is available at hotel but is abit pricey (can't remember how much but we were ok on the street).

My room was spotless, in fact rather clinical with a 'crispy' waterproof mattress protector.

The room was spotless with tea making facilities.

However the room, although very small was clean and was cleaned each day.

Rooms were compact in modern french tradition, but funtional,clean and quiet.

My room was clean and okay for a night in Biarritz.
