Tudor Hotel And Suites

A GREAT location check into the Tudor, the hotel is located right by a beautiful section of beach.

The hotel location is AWSOME, close to the beach, restaurants and night life.

The hotel is ideal because of its central location and it is close to the beaches.

Also when we left in the mornnig there are even cabs right outside lined up to take us to the airport.

She started off on the wrong foot by telling us she couldn't find our reservation only to say "haha just kidding".

Room was pretty basic; with bed, shower (no bath-tub), phone, and cable TV.

The rooms are clean, nice king bed, with alarm clock, refrigerator, coffee pot, the bathroom and tub can use some updating.

The next day they gave us a really nice suite on the 2nd floor but when we were moving our things from the flooded room the hotels "head of security " busted in and then attempted to rush us out while he moved the bed from all the falling water.

I had booked a room with two beds and the girl at the desk told me that I had only booked one bed and it would cost me an additional $20 for another.

We took the sheets from the bed to the beach and when we got back, there were already fresh sheets and towels in our room.

There is also a hotel bar & snack bar which to be fair serves pretty good food (great for breakfast) and the booze isn't that expensive for a hotel lobby.

There is a restaurant, bar, and gift shop within the hotel; and innumerable others just a few blocks away.

The hotel does not have many amenities, but does have restaurant/ bar, gift store, and a tour desk.

The lobby bar seemed to be the home base of 3 ladies for hire, and a police bust was made in the restaurant while I was there.

There's a nice bar/lounge in the lobby with great food but horrible service.

The service was great, the food was good, the drinks were plenty, and the staff was awesome.

FRONT DESK STAFF: Wasn't exactly rude but wasn't exactly nice either-- I would just call them a little strange!

Not the most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed in and the Front Desk staff was nice.

When i got there the front desk staff told me that the hotel was closing down in a week for renovations.

A nice view of the pool, elite places and the lobby looks like hasnt been renovated in 30 years.

Parking is not included but it hardly ever is in South Beach.

The hotel was clean and elevator worked fine.

The bathroom looked like it may have been remodeled and was clean and nicely set up.

The sheets and the bathroom were fine and clean.

Various restaurants other hotels, the staff were fine and the room we had was clean.

We were expecting the worst because of these reviews, but our rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

If you require a large and spotless room, go somewhere else.
