Great location after having found our way round Alicante one way streets and very comfortable the rooms were a little dated.

However, that should not detract from the views, the location and value for money.

You can get to the hotel from the airport by taxi although I don't know how much this costs as I always take the C-6 bus which leaves from outside the arrivals hall and stops almost right outside the hotel.

As other reivewers have said, take the c6 bus from the airport.

Room was a studio with separate lounge & bedroom, with minibar, safe & balcony.

Unbelievable value: I paid 60 euros a night for a room without breakfast but what other correspondents do not point out is that almost all the rooms are in fact mini-suites with a separate lounge and a lobby.

The bed was hard, the sofa was stained and dirty, the AC was antiquated and noisey, the bathroom had a cheap plastic dispenser for soap and shampoo.

Was on 14th floor, room very dated, could hear in distance other peoples units on and when people ran water in bathrooms it was quite loud, hear lift in distance.

The bathroom was fine, clean towels every day and everyhting worked well, beds fine although personally I would have liked the sheets to tuck in a little more, the curtains were a tad narrow for the space, but I am just being picky.

I haven't eaten in the restaurant, as there are so many restaurants nearby, but the menu looks good and at reasonable prices.

Good, but expensive, breakfast and nice 26th floor restaurant for evening meal with splendid views of harbour and castle.

Breakfast was just like other continental breakfasts very boring.

Didnt have breakfast at all, went out for lunch/evening meals.

Although we asked when we arrived, we were told the restaurant was fully booked, so the romantic meal with view was scrubbed for the rather more informal dining along the promonade.

Reception staff were brilliant breakfast very good.

Good location, central hotel for exploring Alicante and reception staff were friendly and helpful.

I thought everything about the hotel was ok - great views across the harbour, ample choice for breakfast, friendly reception staff, adequate rooms etc.

All staff speak English and there is a small sauna in the basement and a small bar in the lobby.

BUT beware: the lift/elevators were both out of action for a short while on one of our days there, and it was a long & tiring hike up & down the stairs (chambermaids allowed a family with kids to use the service lift).

Parking was reasonable, but 2 blocks away.

Nevertheless, the room we have was spotless, clean, beight & airy - and there was also a separate sitting room (also with the same great view) which had a sofa, minibar & the TV.

Staff are very helpful and attentive, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Superb views out to beach, alicante is a great place and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The service is great and the beds have clean.

Reception was staffed by friendly females, the room was comfortable and clean, the food we thought was excellent.
