The location on the boardwalk is good, close to the better piers.

Great location on the boardwalk and the hotel rooms were very nice.

The location right on the boardwalk can't be beat!

We took the carriage like taxi back for 20 bucks.

Take the bus to Harrah's it's off the strip.

The suite had one and a half baths, living room and dining room, separate bedroom area, very large jacuzzi tub and a terrace.

We explained to the lady who booked our rooms, we needed one handicapped with two double beds smoke free adjoining to a king bed smoke free room because we were traveling together but needed different rooms.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was nice with good water pressure and soft towels.

The bedroom was beautiful with a Jacuzzi in the room and mirrors on the ceiling (so 80's but it really was sexy) and a motorised TV that comes out of a cabinet near the bed.

Room was clean, sheets and bed were clean and comfortable, towels were better quality and soft, only downside was the toilet seats need to be replaced -they no longer look clean even when clean.

As for the restaurants at the Taj, we ate lunch one day at Rim, which is a noodle bar.

They also gave vouchers for a free drink in the bar and a meal in the Bombay restaurant to us and others who were held up.

We ate at the Indian restaurant called Royal Albert's and it was delicious, given that we eat a lot of ethnic food and have had cruddy Indian food elsewhere.

We had a delicious breakfast at Resorts restaurant next door called Breadsticks, which is right on the boardwalk.

Hotel Restaurants ~ The Safari steak restaurant was very good, the staff was courteous and friendly, anyway the room was beautiful.

The front desk and bell/concierge staff (mostly all staff in the hotel, really), was super helpful and friendly throughout the stay.

Valet, reception, luggage storage, maid service.

Towels were better quality and soft, the maid service was great, the check-in staff was pleasant.

Since we were part of a tour we didn't have to check in or out at the front desk so we don't know how those staff members react to the pressure of meeting guests.

The only negative I encountered (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) was because I really expected a Jacuzzi/Whirlpool in the pool area of a resort like this but found out it is inside the "spa area" which charges a $20/day fee to use!

Hotel guests are advised that using the spa and the pool cost $20 extra.

Parking was confusing, we didn't know where the elevators were so we parked a bit far from their location.

Our room was spotless when we got it, and housekeeping did a great job of keeping it clean during the stay.

The room was spotless, bedding very clean.

The bathroom was roomy and clean but not SPOTLESS.

We have stayed at the Taj many, many times and have usually had lovely, clean rooms.

The staff was very nice, and the rooms were very clean.
