Built in 1961, the charming four-star Tropicana hotel has become an accommodation pioneer in the Costa del Sol offering a location near the main culture and shopping places in Torremolinos.

After its renovation in 2004, the Tropicana comprises a business corner with two fully-equipped conference rooms and large swimming pool with tropical garden.

The 84 well-decorated guestrooms include 67 double rooms and 17 single rooms and have spacious balcony overlooking either the swimming pool or sunny beach.

One on-site restaurant serves a set menu with a la carte service while the original bar in the glazed hall overlooks the pool area and offers starters, salads, soups and tasty pasta and rice.

Nice location on the beach and wonderful Tropicana. Clean and staff friendly, good sized bathroom, the breakfast also needs beans and a better toaster. Complimentary fridge and fresh sheets.

The location was ideal position, the main hotel was on the beach front and the studios we stayed in were a two minute walk away, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well maintained, food was very good.
