Excellent overall experience. Fairly clean hotel, quirky choice for nightlife. Spotless rooms, overlooking garden. Quick check-in, parking on site. Great pool area too.

During our romantic escape, we found the perfect little inn in the heart of the town. The quaint colonial-style design added to the romantic ambiance we were looking for. We appreciated the two complementary coupons for breakfast at the charming restaurant, which had both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant allowed us to watch the street life as we enjoyed our meals. The location of the inn was simply unbeatable, within a short walk to all the shopping, galleries, and eateries, we got everything we wanted.

The room was a bit small and didn't offer much light, making it feel a bit stuffy at times. The walkway for other guests that frequently strolled by our curtains also made us feel exposed without privacy, especially in the evenings.

Beds lacked comfort which was likely due to the fact that the box springs was made of concrete

The food was excellent and the atmosphere of the place was very friendly. I loved having climate control, a coffee machine, and a work desk in the room. Additionally, exploring the downtown San Jose del Cabo district was definitely a highlight of my visit.

Our stay at Tropicana Inn was absolutely incredible! We dined at the amazing restaurant multiple times over the years, but had no idea about the beautiful hotel behind it. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and even walked us to our room. The beds were super comfy and the entire place was spotlessly clean. The pool was like a scene from a movie. We were in awe! I highly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable stay.
