Tropicana Grand Oasis Sharm el Sheikh - 沙姆沙伊赫

The location of the resort is in a quiet setting away from the busyness of the main areas of Sharm.

By far the best location and hotel spotless.

The sea is crystal clear, the beach location is fantastic and the sister hotel is also very nice.

4-5 each way for taxis, but there is a free bus from the hotel you can book.

The bus can bring you back at set times until just after midnight otherwise use a taxi which costs about?

Rooms are large with two double beds in each room which (if you're travelling as a couple) you can push together and make a supersize four person bed!

Very clean, rooms good although my son, who we had to pay adult fare for, had to sleep on a camp bed and with his sister in another, there were 4 of us in one room- cramped at times.

The Accommodation: We were lucky and got a room with a lovely sea view, although a bit sparse in the furniture department the bed was comfy.

You do have to be at the pool by 8am to secure a bed and parasol unless you have a chat with the pool attendants like I did and for a £2 tip they always had 2 beds and a parasol for us.

We had a double room which had got a king size bed and was clean and comfy!

Food was nice although it is quite busy in the main restaurant at lunch and dinner but food is constantly being brought out so theres plenty to eat, the other restaurants were very nice aswell although you do have to book in advance.

There is a main restaurant, which is ok for breakfast and mid day snacks and there are 2 smaller restaurants.

Dinning comes down to two options either turn up at the main dinning area, which is self service and used for breakfast; lunch; and dinner or alliteratively pre-book a table at one of the three other restaurants located around the hotel.

There are 3 restaurants to chose from Italian, Oriental and seafood(With these restaurants you have to book a table) plus the buffet restaurant itself.

It can be a bit of a fight but getting into the restaurants bang on when serving starts at 1pm and 7pm (and 7am for breakfast - although this is less arduous) seems to be the key.

The service is fantastic at the hotel by all the staff and they appreciate a tip but never asked for one.

We thought the hotel staff were unfailingly charming, and we had very good service (aided by regular tipping).

The location has a lot to be desire regarding night life the entertainment team did their best, service in all areas of the hotel was excellent and entertainment staff were a big let down.

Reception staff are efficient and helpful, the rooms are clean, the Italian restaurant is very good.

The swimming pool is massive, and we found no problems getting a sunbed and parasol just ask nicely - if going check out the spa, we had all over body massage and treatments which was relaxing and felt amazing after!

From the moment we arrived we were made so feel so welcome by any staff we come across, especially Hany & Ahmed @ the Beach Bar, Mahmoud @ the Pool Bar & Mohammed @ the lobby bar (definately a trend here).

There is water aerobics, dancing and water polo every day round the pool and they play music about half the time and then leave it quiet some of the time which is nice to do some reading or have a doze.

The whole place was clean, staff were both good and the rooms were spotless.

Accomadation was basic but very clean, at the moment the staff are decorating the rooms so you could be asked to move.
