Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City - 大西洋城

We had done a lot of research in advance on where to stay and had narrowed it down to the Tropicana (for location) and the Borgata (because it is a much more elegant property.

I would reccomend staying here if you want something with a central location.

The airport taxi people were very pushy and ignorant.

Finally, you will constantly be asked if you want a ride from the push taxi drivers as you stroll along the Boardwalk.

It was not one of the hot tub suites, but a long room with a king sized bed and a couch and chair on the other end.

I asked if they offered any special deals for AAA members and they bumped us from a rack room to an ocean-front suite with a king sized bed, frig, seperate living room area and huge jacuzzi tub (I'd guess maybe 500 sq ft?

Thankfully, this room was clean but did have a lingering smell of cigarettes which we tried to ignore by putting bath towels over the bed pillows.

It had a jacuzzi in the bedroom, a very comfortable bed, a separate living room with a good size TV (bigger than the one in the bedroom).

The stay was very nice i stayed in the west tower room the room was very nice and clean large bathroom nice decorations including old pictures of the boardwalk which added nice touch very comfortable bed.

It was nice because there was a little boardwalk to wander, nice restaurants in the casino (Wellington's Cafe for lunch and Fiesta buffet for breakfast), good shopping in the Quarter and the beach is right there.

The restaurants are very good: Carmines and Fiesta Buffet for dinner; Seaside for breakfast.

We also had buffet breakfast in Fiesta Buffet restaurant in the casino.

I am not a huge fan of "the Quarter", but it is a nice area for those seking the commercialized restaurant/bar scene.

Food was very good - ate at one of the restaurants that evening and had dessert at Brulees - a fun time.

This includes service at the front desk, the hotel maid/cleaning service, the restaurant service, the casino floor staff, etc.

Hotel is very large, the prices should not be a reflection of the source of the money paid and the staff at front desk very helpful even the manager.

The Pool, Jacuzzi (small holds 3 people) and both Steam Room and Sauna are free for guests.

Taking the stroller from the parking garage to three different elevators to get to our room was a little bit of a hassle.

The big perk is that it is an elevator ride from the Quarter (lots of fun bars, shops, spa and casino), and also relatively close to the beach with a nice view.

I was upset no high speed internet though.

I don't know in what part of the hotel they were staying) Our room was clean and fresh.

We stayed in the West Tower and although it could use a good update on the decor, our rooms were very clean.

The room had a great ocean view and was spotless.

The room was very clean, service was always friendly and top notch, and the show was excellent.

The Havana Tower has basic rooms that are clean and service is excellent in the slot machine area also.
