  The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and polite. When you want to go the tourist centre you can use the cheap buses driving everywhere in the town.

• 100 metres down the road is it,s sister hotel which is ok and which you can use day an night the foods abit better plus there you have the beach area and a number of activities to do ,there is a excellent divivg center , this is your only escape from the other hotel from hell.

  We stayed at the Triton Empire hotel which is the sister hotel to the Triton empire beach resort , as unfortunately it was booked up, the hotel was clean, rooms basic but clean, cleaner was excellent! The staff behind the bar " hi Ahmed" were fabulous with our son and also myself and husband I cant fault anything, the weather was glorious and wish we could of afforded a second week but are going to go back in the summer and thats a 1st for us, although we seemed to be the only english didnt bother us as a lot of nice dutch people about.

  If you are staying downtown I would ditch the holiday transfers and get a taxi to your hotel, we paid 70 egyptian pounds although most probably could of got it cheaper but they have to earn a living too, although he wanted 150 egyptian pounds I knew that was well overpriced and nicely told him that we have visited egypt several times which we have, so save yourself some bucks!

• The rooms were adequate with a full size fridge, our balcony overlooked the pool so didn't get a lot of sun but in December we didn't expect much. The staff in Peanuts bar were great and the food filling.

• The room was okay and the staff were helpful enough so no criticism there. Breakfast was fine even if the dining room looks like a school canteen.
