Trim Castle Hotel

The location is fantastic and trim is a neat little town.

Great location, lovely setting and we were happy we did as all the staff.

The views of the castle are spectacular from the honeymoon suite and homely hotel in a lovely location overlooking Trim Castle.

The location perfect and trim village is wonderful.

The view over Trim Castle is awesome, excellent Hotel in a good location beside the Castle and the rooms are spacious.

The room was very comfortable spacious and modern with a balcony,large comfortable bed ,widescreen tv,tea maker etc.

Very quiet at night, super huge comfy bed and pillows, plasma TV (volume could not go up very high) and lovely bathrooms, if a little small.

The bedroom was not huge but perfectly adequate and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, flat screen tv and tea &coffee facilities.

The kids had to share a double sofabed, (I'd expected twin beds for them, or a single and pull-out bed - my fault, I guess, for not checking).

There shouldn't be any 'bad' rooms in a new hotel, but ours was definitely pokey and dark, and two kids of 9 and 11 being expected to share a bed is not ideal!

Also attractive bathroom products, big high ceiling and delicious food in the restaurant / bar.

Breakfast on the first morning was in the Jules Restaurant, (self-service buffet), and we were annoyed by the poor service and by the standard of the food.

We ate in the Barista restaurant and the food was gorgeous!

There is also a restaurant, which although we didn't eat in, exuded lovely smells and the Sunday lunch menu looked good (with main courses being around 12euro or so).

There is a large lounge bar and a really nice cafe which served excellent food which was presented very attractively.

Staff were very helpfull, the receptionist was very friendly and bright, hot chocolate in the room was good.

Lovely area, super Hotel and nice and helpful staff at reception.

This town was a great base for driving to all the ancient sights in the area: Newgrange, did not think the receptionist was not very friendly did not say time breakfast was nothing about the hotel and all the staff were very courteous.

The service was better, found the family room very big and the breakfast was lovely staff very friendly.

Car parking is free and spaces are plentiful.

There was plenty of free parking available.

The lobby is very roomy and quite easy to find a corner to chat or have some coffee.

Our room was huge and very clean and modern.

Free wi-fi is available in the bedrooms, this gaurentees the food will be hot and fresh.
